  • advisable to wear a lab coat!

  • is not real at the end

  • The lab coat and dummy just made it more expensive. Actually you can make a dummy with milk bottles...plastic ones, just tape them all together. Or soda (pop) bottles. Or do it with a real person backwards...so you can run it backwards and it will look forward.

  • Oh maw gaaaaaaaawd

  • 20 pounds is not zero budget ....

  • Excellent stuff, I like this much better than Indymogul.

  • do the make urban colored dolls?

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • Thanks for the tip. By the way that was fucking hilarious!! 10 points.

  • The girl was a blow up doll (sex doll)

  • "do whatever you want" lmao

  • was that a gti at 0:54

  • LOL this is cool! now i know how to do it..thanks!!

  • @willizle02

    lol

  • holy shit that is genious

  • LOL...Cool! Old film effects ;-)

  • What junk shop did you get it from and where?

  • Hey, could you tell me how the shot at 1:28 was done?

    Thanks.

  • Zoom in while going backwards or zoom out while going forward.

  • It's called the "dolly out zoom in" effect. The camera physically moves out but the zoom lens moves in, distorting the background. However, this shot was done in reverse, creating a bizarre "dolly in zoom out" effect.

  • That's when you zoom in and move backwards at the same time :)

If that's the technique I think you are referring to.

  • it's called a trombone shot. The camera moves away from the subject while at the same time zooming in. This can also be done vice versa.

  • And the blow up doll is also usefull for the no budget love scene of the movie lol

  • LOL @ "so let's go out and run her over". brilliant

  • You could have told me this before I broke my leg! =) jking

  • LMAO!

  • I like the lab coat tip and the filming in reverse. Briliant ideas!!

    great tips btw..

  • how do you do that shot, where the subject appears to be coming closer, and the background is going further?

    always wanted to know..

  • check out my previous answer...

  • You guys are my heros - seriously, these tips are amazing!

And the accents aren't bad, either... ;)

  • Wear a lab coat so people think you're doing something official. That's genius social engineering!

  • educational and funny

  • HAHAHA. great :D

  • you can have sex with the stunt doll afterwards ...

  • Not that one, it doesn't have any holes. You could watch a movie with it I suppose.

  • @golfthewlis haha

  • @golfthewlis Do you need holes to have sex?

  • Thats awesome!! I love the backwards filming tip! Definitly will be used by me soon...

  • Wow thanks good tip.

  • ROTFLMAO, that was sooooo funny

  • lol nice but where do i get the dummy?

  • That was freaking wow.

  • "So you accidently not hit your actor for real". XD

    I love this. XD

  • Excellent effect guys :o)

Will certainly be trying this in one of my short films soon.

  • indy mogul's better

  • how do you get the effect between 1:27 and 1:28, where the periphery of the shot is moving in much faster than the centre?

  • that's done by zooming in while the camera is moving backwards, or zooming out while the camera is moving toward the subject. It's a great effect- Hitchcock used it.

  • @golfthewlis Actually he invented it for the movie Vertigo

  • you start close up zoomed out and then when it moves back you zoom in which gives it a weird feeling.

  • XD

    Loved the finished result.

  • yeah amazing :D

  • U OWN INDYMOGUL :D

  • that was ledgend!

  • That was so cool golfthewlis.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THAT WAS GOLD!

  • LOL! Thats so awesome

  • Good job there, very easy to set up and make it kind of real :)

  • thats RAD!

  • lmao cool....

  • how did you do the effect at the end, where it was zooming in.. but not..

  • Either zoom out as you move towards someone, or zoom in as you're moving away. It's a great effect; you see it in Hitchcock, Poltergeist and Home Alone.

  • 5 stars!

  • Ah that's awesome dude!!

  • That's great I love these... Thanks Guys for the tips!

  • Exellent, Thank you !
