rember this well! i was in 2nd year didnt have a driving licence, the outfit, mf 290 with single chop tarrup, me with mf565 drawin and a crystal 8145 buckrakin, back push off, they were the days!!
Those were the days when silage making was so simple and the direct cut was so straight forward ,nothing compared to today's silage making where the grass has to be tethered and wilted before carting in colossal quantities, how times have changed.
you can say what you like about big m and sph but this is still the best and can put in all his grass with 20 gallon of diesel, always love the hum of a side mount
I think you are right that it's a 188.......notice the wheel weights on the front wheels....These were quite common on 188's but rarely if ever seen on a 168. it's not a definitive answer but I would put money on it
wel we choped a load every cuple of days an just used it like that a was only abwt 7 at da time so cant emember dat much some 1 had to stand on it to move the spout tho lol
Great Video. That remindes me of my youth cutting silage with a MF185 and Taarup single chop. Some difference compared with a modern set-up in speed and cost!
you should wait to it was closer
