im trying to install AIMP2 but when I open the exe file it just shows the aimp icon saying Initializing and then it just closes... any idea?

@seppesai From what I have researched, that is a known bug. I don't think Wine supports AIMP2.

I guess you tried to install it aswell, in the end what player did you find that works similar to AIMP?
@seppesai No, I haven't tried it. Just from what I read from googling, it doesn't work. There are lots of music programs in Ubuntu...Banshee, Rhythmbox,...
It won't let me tick "allow execute as program" what do?

@MrSp33dFr3ak Open the terminal. Change to the directory where the .exe is, ie.
cd /home/joe/Desktop
Then type
sudo chmod +x filename.exe
I hope that makes sense to you.
