The actress that was originally wanted for the role of Agent Clarice Starling was Julianna Moore, but she makes-up for it in 'Hannibal'. Fosters Freeze misses the intellectual agility in the character of Agent Clarice Starling that Julianna Moore brings in everytime.

uh wrong it was Michelle Pfeiffer but Pfeiffer turned it down because it was too violent for her. The writer always saw Foster as Clarice though. And Foster projects intelligence much better than Moore ever does. It's Moore that is blank and boring in Hannibal. Jodie Foster was perfection as Clarice Starling and everyone knows it. Her performance was magnetic just watch her in that autopsy scene. She played it with much better feeling than Julianne did sorry.

An f.b.i. agent has been to dozens of autopsy scenes before being accepted into the f.b.i., therefor playing the autopsy scene as if one were a gawking 2-year-old is inaccurate, an insult to the f.b.i., and America.

The serial killer is the product of the socially acceptable religions that refuse to accept the fact that the children they beat-up, and f##k, grow-up to become the Albert Fishs, John Wayne Gacys, and the Ted Bundys.

The character of Agent Starling states that she has been through the academy during the interview with

Jack Crawford', based on John Douglas, who is quite human, as the person that interviewed, and compiled the first computer programme on serial murder profiling, this interview gives the foundation of the change in Agent Starling's focus in her goals as an F.B.I. agent, and the fact she had attended autopsies.
