@TheSwedanes: I don't know... the dogs seem happy & healthy. Probably in great shape with all the exercise. I would imagine, to get a dog to pull you like that would take a strong connection between human & canine, so it's a good way to bond. It's no more stupid than making cats go crazy with a laser light (LOL). Each to their own.
