@DanielleBabes2009 I have issues with that too and it makes me sound aweful when i try to hard! I have some fast steps and cant seem to fit in the bounce. You have to practice the step slowely at first and then u get faster!
do a normal drum: step w/ back foot, tip the front shoe tip, then the heel of the front shoe, then as you step on the back foot again do a cut with the front leg.
great turn out and flicks! those drum cuts are hard and you do them well -- just make sure you're not missing beats on the cut (when you hop or drop your heel), especially when you do it on the right. If you have to cut out the stamp finish on that and do a step instead and it will help you clarify the sound
back trebles are easiest done as fast treble hops. It is the same rhythm as in the front. Start by stepping on your front foot. Then you treble with the back foot under the heel of front foot. When making the second sound of the treble hop on the front foot. Then to finish place the back foot down. It should follow a rhythm of: step tre-ble hop down. This can be done as a drill. in this step its done with out placing the back foot down but rather by two back treble hops and then a toe bang.
Thank you so much, that move has always ben a mystery to me. But one more thing, that move the girl does in the video above, I think there called drum cuts how do you do it? She dose it right after the two back trebles.
wow you are good! I do irish dance but we don't coompete, instead of those dresses we just wear catholic school girl uniforms. I am onley intermedite and my hard shoe dances aren't amazing :( any help with how to nail those sounds?
