  • Got to love those Dunhill's. That ones a beauty. Years ago I used to buy pipes from a guy who would brush the raw wood wall of a new pipe with a mixture of honey and water to start the break in process. It worked great and I still use it on raw wood walls.

  • Beautiful Dunny you got there Joe! I'll bet it won't be the last one, haha. Definitely agree with doing a way with carbonizing the bowls, I prefer a naked bowl my self. (haha) Although I'm not against them if it already comes that way. Wish more pipe makers did a way with it.

  • Great looking pipe Joe! Hope you have many great smokes out of the Dunhill. I think going natural on the inside of the bowl is a great idea. I prefer that myself.

  • Hi joe I have no issue with the pipe and I'm very happy with it and it is an awesome smoker my friend all the carbon has come off now and it is starting to cake at the bottom of the bowl, and now you have a dunhill try dunhill de lux navy rolls awesome smoke I have just smoked it in my robust freehand take care my friend~mark

  • Silem's Black is the mystery tobacco. The Dunny sure looks good. As far as the Carbon treatment. I have had this by Joe. I did take it out very easily and it did not effect the taste or smoke after doing so. I forgot to specify that i wanted Natural.
