  • Derpium

  • I wish they just called it Tiberium instead... :D

  • Thumbs Up if you Watched this because you Thought of Tiberium

  • Omg too many elements...

  • 2 people do not have any Terbium in their bones

  • For a split second, I thought the title read "Tiberium"

  • @Nanovirus5995 cool story bro.

  • Hes in the UK yet the steering wheel is on the left?

  • @PandaMagicFTW : Ytterby is in Sweden, not in the UK, so I expect he was driving a car he rented there.

  • @tr41 Well... I thought all of europe drive on the left side? ._.

  • @PandaMagicFTW : Actually, if I recall correctly, of the European countries it is just Ireland, the UK, Cyprus and Malta that drives on the left.

  • @tr41 I did not know that. Thanks for enlightening me.

  • where is the professor!!!!!! :(

  • These two are in the top three of the smartest people on these videos by far. I like their videos a lot.

  • Is this the mineral mined in Command and counquer?

  • @HaT223

    That's teberium, a fictional element.

  • @fuunguus No i know i was just kidding.

  • He sounds patronizing.

  • @evenigniteshade I am very much alive and not really elderly. I was in Sweden two days before the Ytterby visit but had to get back to the UK to lecture to the students! I am busy with Brady Haran preparing more videos!

  • Love these videos! If I may offer a suggestion: add the names (as text) for the speakers and pictures of the people you show. That way we can learn the names of your wonderful presenters and distinguished names throughout the history of science.

I love the idea of honouring the people behind the science as much as I love science. Their curiosity and hours of hard wark lives with us today through their scientific discoveries.

    :)

  • I seriously love you guys! Did you visit yitterby again? lol

  • If I ever get to Sweden, I'm going there.

  • Did the elderly scientist die, the one that's been in all the other videos?

  • Awesome! Sweden! Yes!

  • In the PC game Moraff's Maximum MahJongg v.3, you can play MahJohngg with "element tiles". For Terbium they have Tb with an icon of a television monitor.

  • very informative...I learnt something new today........LOL at myself (postgrad chem student)

  • You could talk more about the chemistry.

  • When I "thumbs up'ed" this video, I see 136 up, 1 down. Who didn't like this? Terbium Rules... well it is cool.

  • @VileMike unfortunately theres always someone who just dislikes it, there is no way we can live without it. and yes the rare earth rules terbium on your behalf

  • @VileMike

    Yeah no kidding!!

There are always a few who don't have the capacity

  • i love these vids, but this one was pretty boring somehow.

  • this is one of the best TY channels. I can learn great information. all those 12 year olds should turn off ShaneDawso/RayWilliamJohnso and tune into some good stuff

  • longer!

  • Mind blown

  • That's really quite nice, a really quite nice use of YouTube.

  • Very well explained!

  • where is the nice professor?

  • @bemanos12345 same question here

  • These videos are fantabulous, especially with the snow. I'd love to visit Ytterby. Thanks guys for this updated video ;)

  • awesome episode!

  • 2:01 it is best to ask technology made of what when that term is used. Technology is usually used as something that was not man made, a fact of nature, and its purpose it so imply that the company that owns that technology is the only one who can sell it to you - leaving all other groups out of the deal.

  • Hahah, everything is always "really quite nice" or "lovely" or "beautiful" with this guy. Awesome videos, keep it up.

  • What happened to the other man? I liked him, he knew loads about everything!

  • Keep up the great videos

  • Great video once again!

  • Yay!!! it's the radioactive guy! it's been a while since he appeared :D

  • Lol! was that fake falling snow when u got out of the car :P

  • @JustJobeMY Not in Sweden ;)

  • @BlueBajs @BlueBajs Oops, better clarify!

i meant at 0:48 it looked like the snow was being dropped deliberately :P

hehe, either way, i love these vids! awesome stuff!

  • @JustJobeMY Not fake... I think the slamming of the car door just dislodged some from the tree!

  • @periodicvideos Ahh :) ok, lol. ill take that explanation! :P

Wasnt really important anyhoo...though i thought it would be funny as hell if there really was someone up there mucking about with you as u got out.

Not really had the joy to experience snow and all that here in the tropics :(

Keep up the awesome work with your vids!

  • @periodicvideos I think (unless this wasn't possible) it was some wind blowing the branches.

  • @JustJobeMY yea, wind and vibration. Like tree rain, after a storm you can still get rained on from the trees.

  • Sweden ftw! I am a swedish geology student so this was a awesome video for me! I havent visited this quarry jet. :D

  • @holsson85 You should go... it's cool!

  • Ytterby? That's quite remote.

  • @risbolla I can get there in about 4 hours with car.

    Define remote ;)

  • Cool. I miss the professor, haha!

  • Terbium is the only element of the four dicovered there I miss in my element collection!

  • Yay another video :)
