  • The chimes remind me of the titles of Breaking Bad. A great show even greater song

  • this song is beautiful

  • I'm confused, is this album considered to be their 4th studio album or not? I'm wondering because The Knife is releasing a new album in 2012 and I want to know if it's their 4th or 5th.

  • they should of just added a verse or two from soldier of love by sade. then this would be like the epic "wu-tang of esoteric music" collabo.

  • Is there any other song or musician who has music similar to this?

This song is the epitome of the reason why I love experimental music.

    Love, love, love.

  • @Deadcat323 Trentmoller's most recent album into the great wide yonder had a similar feel, but a bit more rock orientated. Fever Ray, one half of the Knife makes great atmosphereic electro. If you like the repetetive, minimal opera angle, i would recommed Phillip Glasses operas, specifically Einstein on the Beach and Satygraha. the artists Four Tet and Burial are making some great, innovative and atmospheric stuff and F**k Buttons make good electro noise. hope this helps!!

  • thnks for uploading bro !

  • gotta love the first top comments

  • the delight of once again being home

  • Awesome =]

  • pure beauty!

  • This makes me think of the forest temple in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

  • i never heard of this kind of stuff, but i like it ;)

  • :)

  • This is my theme song for life xD

  • I'm sorry but every time I hear this I burst out laughing

  • Wow..........this is something else!

  • My favorite set of lyrics is when they say "Hee (Ha) Hee (Ho) Hee (Haha) Hoo (Hee)." It's pure art.

No but seriously, it can possibly freak you out if you are high

  • I was thinking birds are changing little bit a bit to human,,,,

  • mal wieder absolut genial! solche genies, der reinste regenbogen an musik!

  • best part is when 2:06 starts (:

  • Hands down one of the best pieces of music that has ever graced my ears.

  • love this

  • Interesting listen... the length of it doesn't take away from the experience. It adds to it.

My fav song from the Teen Dream album. The video is a little off, but the song is still amazing. Very stoney.

Check out “Shy,” the new song from Lisa Tucker (American Idol Top 10 Finalist, BET’s The Game, Nickelodeons Zoey 101) through Lisa’sLullaby channel! Be the first to hear it!

  • que rola me esta super, para meditar en tu cuartito o estar con una chica, o con un churrito jeje muy buena rolita

  • great! soothing song perfect for background music to study

  • I honestly can't believe I just stumbled upon this on betterPropaganda's site! I feel like I have the luckiest ears in the world.

  • Awesome. sounds a little like the forest temple song in the legend of zelda ocarina of time

  • very medieval, mystical, and beautiful

  • the (opera) singing that starts at 5:45 is SO beautiful. It gives me goose bumps.

  • Magnífico.

  • After Silent Shout's Reindeer: "Why don't they open up and just do gigantically long songs?"

    aaaaand, done.

    WOW.

  • One of the most challenging albums I've ever listened to but persist with it and it is fantastic. As concept albums go this is up there with the best.. Oh and this song is the best I have heard for a LONG time.

  • The knife are no 1 on my last fm account

  • i'm so greatful to find this song and discover the group's work

  • Anyone who says "music isn't as good as it used to be" only has to listen to this to be proven utterly wrong.

  • everybody! check out the runner phoenix remix of colouring of pigeons. you will not be disappointed.

  • omg - musical ecstasy.

  • @fluorescentdaisy That was a concise way to describe it. :)

  • no its more the vocals at 2:12 that remind me of bianca, but the mixture of that and the opera-esque "ah's" at the beginning remind me of something that cocorosie might do

  • I could be sad about how this not electronic-sounding and quite different from previous works of the knife. But that would be stupid because this song is just incredibly beautiful and in the face of its pure awesomeness I am left with nothing but joy and a fat smile on my face. It does not really matter what Karin sings, but when she says such beautiful things I cannot help but think that this must be what angels talking would sound if they existed...

  • @Ratzebratz great way to put it, i totally agree! I saw Karin perform at Coachella and it was the most spiritual experience I've ever had

  • gooooooooooooooooood

  • Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

  • Utterly unique! We need more music like this these days.....

  • Excellent !

  • the vocals remind me much of cocorosie

  • @iamsarahreid why? because sierra is vocally trained in singing opera?

  • @iamsarahreid i love cocorosie and the knife but the vocals here dont sound anything like vocals in cocorosie. not even a trillion light years.

  • @ANSsince1995 really? not the slightest resemblance? interesting. well both artists are phenomenal, lets agree on that lol

  • GENIAL!!!

  • GENIAL!!!

  • brilliant

  • profound

  • Givenchy Haute Couture spring 2010 soundtrack!

  • great song

  • I'm in lovelovelove, give me moremoremore...

  • love itttttt

  • I think ill buy the album the opera elements are so good!

  • DAMN I am in love, too

  • Haha, thanks, man. I think both could actually make sense, tbh.

  • olof sounds here really nice.

  • too good

  • I am in love.

  • The album got 8 out of 10 in NME and this song is really good, im tempted to buy the album.

  • I LIKE IT

  • I think people should judge this like a side project and not a knife album and just appreciate it for what it is......once again these truly talented siblings have pushed themselves to the limits and proberly the most unique act electronic music has ever known.

  • Even "Intro" is amazing.

  • @redcommando1 thanks.

  • I listened to the new album and i absolutely hate it....i know its a soundtrack but even so...this is about the only song i rate on the whole album....

  • exactly yeah. epic song from an epic fail of an album.... it says in the credits that karin's not part of the tour, neither, so i won't be watching it.

  • I rated your comment +1 BUt, I think this is one that I need to buy.

  • I think Knifes new album is much more than words can describe.

  • i don't see what is so wrong with this...i love the knife and this is still really excellent

  • electric cello at the end lol...epic

  • J'adore

  • Does anybody else think this album is better than Kid A

  • LOL...no

  • that a stretch bud

  • Wow...=]

@JDogBemple: Haven't listened to it yet: I just read a track review on Pitchfork. I listened and I think I'm currently on an awesome plain of existence. Not sure if it's possible to top Kid A, but if it's just as good, I'm definitively tuning in.

  • the new album is disappointing. this song is bearable.

  • Hmm, is it just me, or does this version sound different? The mix on my copy (From the Knife's official website) sounds different, way different.

  • asombroso!

  • Oh yeah. And if you love Fever Ray check out my Audio visual for "When I Grow Up."

  • ....I think that now, sinceThe Knife is done with this project they will produce something new in the near future. Without colaberating with lame ass Planningtorock WTF. Knife love to all!!!! haha

  • Alright check it out. I'm a Knife geek inside and out and it's obvious what makes The Knife so incredible. But I want to let everyone know that the Album "Tomorrow, In a Year" is NOTHING like this. Do not get your hopes up for a bunch of insane Olof beats and more spine chilling sounds from Karin's voice. Because this is the only song she "sings" on. Having said that, this opera was not The Knifes idea, they were offered the opprotunity to try something new and they took it. So...

  • Как такое можно слушать ))))))))))

  • The only Knife i like jamming into my head.

  • indcredible!

  • mmmm some max ernst influence for the people with bird's heads / birds with people's bodies ?

  • this song absolutely touches me deep in my heart....LOVE IT!

  • 9 on pitchfork

  • un bay leave able

  • Love this to death. The only thing from Karin and Olof i have not liked was parts of Deep Cut. Ohter then that everything they do have been completely AMAZING!

  • next level stuff here. everybody gotta listen

  • (after listening to Silent Shout) wow there's is nothing that can get better than this.

(after listening to Fever Ray) okay there is NOTHING that can get better than this!

(after listening to this) HOW THE HELL DO THEY KEEP GETTING BETTER?!!!!

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays I feel you, bro

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays pmsl,totally agree.Honey is cool is a step back but it's still Karen.

  • @redcommando1 well that was where she started. you gotta start somewhere.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays Idk, I really liked their first cd better than their second, and I find silent shout better than everything else they've done.

  • @MadameMcintosh well this song is really good but the rest of this album is pretty bad. but yeah i agree that "The Knife" was better than "Deep Cuts" although i do like their sophomore album a lot.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays "Seeds" is awesome too :)

I'm just reaaally not into opera.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays i agree that this song is the best on the album, and i dont care for the rest of the album either. i'd even say this song though is debate-ably the best of their career. however, i think "deep cuts" and "the knife" were equally fantastic.

  • Comment removed

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays have you listend to deep cuts? now that was good too.

  • @angelsinyourface Deep Cuts is good for sure. but it didn't have the same feeling as Fever Ray and Silent Shout.

but it was still a great record, if just for "Heartbeats" and "Pass This On"

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays Try some Oni Ayhun, especially OAR003B, it's Olof's solo project :)

  • @nealkemp actually I do own some Oni Ayhun (only OAR001 and OAR002 at the moment). but i feel that it pales in comparison to most of Fever Ray's music.

  • Gran descubrimiento, gracias Sophie...

  • opera & the knife? wooow!

  • EAR-GASMIC !!!

    Well done.

  • @JIMNO1R AGREED! 100% I am so eagor to find out what else is in store for us on the album!!!

  • Very catchy ^_^

  • Have you ever had the experience of being unable to contain emotions of awe while listening to a piece of music and then it'll come out as small bursts of laughter? AUDIO ORGASM!

  • you mean an eargasm?

  • QUALITY

  • thanks for sending this to me,sounds nice, xo

  • MASTERPIECE! I dowloaded it yesterday. The full is 11 min.You should have shortened it in the end,not in the beginning, becouse it starting with good beats,in the end is only noise.Never mind ;)

  • Yeah, I had a hard time deciding where to shorten it. nice channel btw.

  • Dude it's a movement from an opera...

  • @Electrotrends download??? buy the album ;-) support the artists !

  • wooow, that's something else! I love it!

  • cant wait for the album !!

  • Amazing track. This album gonna be epic :)

  • Absolute genius, as always. Looking forward for the album!

  • Ahhh, I just love this song.

    I love Karins out-of-this-country-voice.

    Beautiful.
