  • i think i just peed my self... this is just awesome... she's awesome...

  • had she been blonde, she could do Glinda on broadway... (but it's part of the character, being blonde...)

  • She's AMAZING!! I'm sorry but she's the best/greatest Filipino Singer ever!!!

  • GALINDAFIED!!!

  • I wonder if she will play Wicked all by herself! Coz she can!!!!! .... but that would be tiresome for her... :D

  • she's flawledss. dam I love her voice ^ ^

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!

  • She sounded like Kristin Chenoweth in the beginning.

  • I love Lea's body language. She does things so GALINDA while singing this song, and she looks and sounds so much like Elphaba when she's singing Defying Gravity. And don't get me started on how amazing her Fantine and Eponine are. xD

    It's nothing short of amazing.

  • cute2x!!! omigawd!!!

  • and Popular too!!!haha.

  • Man this chick really got around

  • one of my favourite Broadway stars performing one of my favourite Broadway songs... i couldn't be happier!

  • She's truly a master in vocalizing, just the fact that she can imitate someone else's voice. She's my favorite!

  • I really love Lea.I like this performance. I didn't expect that she can change her voice and imitate Kristin's voice.

  • Super! I love this version =)

  • I LOVE HER I LOVE HER I LOVE HER I LOVE HER GUESS WHAT?! I LOVE HER<3

  • LOVE IT!!! she can play G(a)linda!!!

  • Very much like Kristin, and that is awesome.

  • OH MY GOD. It's my favourite singer singing one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite musicals, a song by Galinda, the role I most want. God. Lea is my idol, and I have no more words.

  • LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!

  • Lea should play as Galinda and Sheryn as Elphaba. :)

  • impressive!!!

  • This is amazing. Although on the sort of spoken parts she seems to be imitating Cheno's style of speaking...

  • anything she can't sing? How about metal? xD

  • Is there anything that she can't sing??? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE LEA!!!!

  • I wish she did Wicked. Lea as Galinda i just <3<3<3

  • @JellieMandoo I agree but she's too old for the part now. :(

  • MY GOD!!! SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!

  • simply PERFECT, i love Ms. Chenoweth version though, but its different

  • The sad fact is that.. In order to cast Lea as Glinda they need to find a Elphaba that has just as much star quality... which hasnt been the case since Ana Gastyr played the role of Elphaba...

  • I love Lea!! I think it's extremely refreshing to see her performing something upbeat and perky since she's already a master at dramatic balads.... BRAVA!!

  • This is such a fun number! And her voice is so nice to listen to!

  • So cute! And yes, her voice definitely sounds better than Idina's ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS and Kristin's MINNIE MOUSE voices!

  • ITA! The two original actresses' voices are SO SQUEAKY that they sound like cats! Bravo, Lea!

  • Love, love, love this version! Lea Salonga is so TOTALLY BETTER THAN IDINA AND KRISTIN COMBINED!

  • She's so cute. I love her.

  • Umm ... I think I like Lea better. I mean, I LOVE Kristin but ...

  • OMG, i thought it was really Chenoweth singing! Well Salonga sounds better! Though the voice is similar, it isn't irritating!

  • been looking for this Victor! Big Thanks Man!

  • lea's voice is amaaaaaazing!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG!! beautiful!! ♥

  • Perfection.

  • She should be a STAR. her voice is so beautiful

  • @xscandalo ...She's a Tony award winner already... and this is Carnegie hall. Check her out. She's a musical theater great. :)

  • @bonbonquest Yeah I know - followed her career since Annie and sang her songs too. What I just want is for her to get the attention she deserves - you know, like the spots occupied by Bette Midler, Celine Dion, etc.

  • @xscandalo ohh... yeah.. I feel you. It's just that her quality isn't for the masses. Her voice is kind for sophisticated audiences. Non-intellectuals wouldn't really understand what Lea does... Bette exploded in a period when real music and musical theater was appreciated not for the belting but for the quality of voices (even if the greats did belt). and Celine is, well, a mainstream singer...

But in due time, maybe... Allegiance is coming up and I believe it calls for another Tony. :)

  • @xscandalo: She IS a star. Not your very-popular-but-untalented-run-of-the-mill POP STAR, but definitely a talented, multi-awarded musical theater GREAT who is known internationally!

  • Lea should do Galinda! Wicked in Manila, pleaseeeee!
