Cheerleaders have more injuries every year than bsketball and football players combined! Being a cheerleader is just under being a jockey as the most dangerious occupations. Cheerleaders don't get payed a cent, and even the ones who entertain for pro basketball and football teams get no money. Most are aspiring models, and get money for doing squad photoshoots, and for speaking to and teaching younger cheerleaders. Most go on to be pro models, some will become strippers.

I have been kicked in the face during practice and had a bloody nose but the coach will yell at you if you don't get back up. Especially at competitions if you get hurt, or hurt some one you have to keep going. SUCKS! But you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. :(
