people compare them to new order and pet shop boys and whatever synthy new wavey pop 80s group out there (true, the vocal on this particular song does at some points remind me of neil tennant); to me, though, their overall sound is just totally unique to them. It is just incredibly sexy, soulful-- can't really describe it. I just know it makes me feel really good.
@vladastorian These guys are basically a Factory records tribute band, which I REALLY, REALLY appreciate. You can tell just from their name that their music is an homage to artists like New Order, and I think they really breathe new life into an old sound.
@DJMeowMixer Tribute band? Goodness gracious. They are no tribute band. They are one of the most unique, well-crafted, consistent music-makers out there. I'm sure they are influenced by new wavey bands like New Order, but they've definitely carved out their own very unique sound and image. One that is totally addictive.
