  • If you hated 'The Shack' you will probably hate my book. Too bad.

    secondworldbook(dot)com

  • Who is not loving does not know the GOD.

    How to love the GOD?

We have to love each other - that is what Jesus said.

Imgen you have you have children ...were you happy to see they fight about that who loves you more....we even kill each other in the "name of God"

  • About the BIBLE --- on the level of logic that is just confusing ...

DEAR (p2)you have to read with love the BIBLE - God is Love...if not - obfuscate you ...that is why you seem so entangled in your videos.

    Watch back yourself.

  • On the level of logic you are right...but God is not on that level -nor the book.

  • On the level of logic you are right...but God is not -nor the book.

  • get to the point(s).......for crying out loud

  • If people want any level of discernment what so ever, it may be helpful to read A "Wonderful" Deception by Warren Smith, with particular focus and attention to that of the chapters focusing on the Shacks and Leonard Sweet's "Fractals" concept and pantheism and panantheism. Yossef highlinghted some of the problems on the Shack, but there were so many more. And yes, I have read the Shack, and there are so many blantant errors in it, but christians today are so biblically illiterate, they don't see

  • so your reviewing reviews, I don't quite get it

  • This is not a review of the book.

  • you are so correct. It is quite boring. Did you know it is snowing on your head?

  • Young twists Scripture (as the devil does). Their is hierarchy between Father and Son in the Bible. God the Father was not crucified with Jesus, but forsook Him because He bore sin and became sin for us. God most certainly practices justice and condemns the guilty unless they repent and put their trust in Jesus to save them from judgment to come.

  • You have taken the time to review the reviewers and yet you haven't taken the time to read the book?

Shouldn't you trust your own opinion rather than the opinions of others?

Maybe you just want to have a video on youtube, take the time then people might take you more seriously.

  • This video was not about the book, but about the comments.

And as I have said, enough of the book was quoted in context by reviewers that I know what it presents.

  • well.. THen we should stop preaching sermons designed to guide people through the word and help them understand. We should just stand up and read passages of the bible. Jesus didnt do this but he expounded upon the scripture so that people who had read it over and over again yet failed to understand it could get a better grasp..

  • Oh, is that so phlizmo?

"And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them." (Mark 4:11-12)

  • Wow talk about taking scripture out of context.

  • I'm not sure what you're getting at. Are you comparing expository preaching to the Shack?

  • God bless you, my brother. Thank you for standing firm in the truth. I pray the the Lord will grant you continued wisdom, knowledge and discernment as you contend faithfully for the Gospel of Christ.

    Your sister in the Lord.

  • THis guy might have his own name as "the other prometheus" but he is no prometheus. He is like other christians; a puppet for all that he has read and heard and been led to believe.

  • Well, I am glad I tried to find God on my own instead of listening to the "experts". Read the book with an open mind. Get back when you have your own story.

  • What do you mean by "with an open mind"? Do you mean I should discard biblical discernment?

  • And you haven't even read the book? Shouldn't you start there??

  • If I was critiquing the book in depth, probably. But I am responding to the comments supporting it.

I have read enough reviews (positive and negative) to know the general content, plot, and theology of the book.

  • Albert Mohler also has a blog about The Shack. You are right on.
