You are playing it with the wrong tone. It's actually the 2nd. position that you have to sue. Thus, neck and middle pickups together. Try it and you'll see that it's spot on that way. Have great fun!

@privettricker - you must be kidding..... tone is everything in guitar playing. You achieve that by using the right gear "CORRECTLY" in conjuction with good technical skills.

@Mamertum345 I disagree. 1. I can find guys with decent tone at any Guitar Center -- but they still suck as players. 2. A Martin D28 has the same tone no matter who's playing it. 3. Jimmy Page played a cheap Danelectro (from Montgomery Ward) made of Masonite. Not many people would call that "the right gear." 4. Regardless, I'm not trying to get a tone that you like. I go for a tone that I like.
