It's been a long time since I visited your YT page and this is what I see. Amazing stuff for a smaller market type like WKBN/WYTV... you did a smart job on nailing it. Speaking of WYTV, can you post a montage of the WYTV graphics?
Thanks for the compliment! The other 'body copy' type family used is Clearview Hwy, which is the font you're starting to see on the nation's freeway signs.
@jcburns Thanks for telling me (I knew about ClearviewHwy, but it just doesn't seem to appear much on signs in the Denver area). I asked because Leviathan doesn't go thinner than Black, which wouldn't suit it to the things covered by ClearviewHwy.
I love this. The color choices and dull texture of the 3D elements give it a warmth not often seen in TV news graphics. I like how you used Leviathan here, it's not a typeface that gets much use.
What's the other sans serif here? It looks kind of like Knockout, but that's not it.
Very Nice Look. I live the WKBN Viewing area. Glad to see the new look. Feb 24th marks 1year with new look and music. From your video the graphics look HD and Digital Widescreen Ready.
Very nice look. I like how this, and the KOIN package, somewhat break the mold of forgettable shades of blues and predictable backgrounds that are seen in most TV gfx. ((And nice job timing the montage here to the music))
@JKing3340 Thanks so much for the kind words. That's exactly what I was trying to do, and a lot of credit goes to the fine folks at WKBN and KOIN for being enthusiastic about the approach.
