Part1Remember this as well, The Nazis had spent all of those years before WWII building up their military's might. while the allies had drawn back their military might from the last war. For the most part the allies had weapons that had been brand new in WWI. The allies didn't fund advances in tanks, planes, or vehicles. Their were some weapon advances, but they weren't being distributed around the ranks well. Which meant that many still had bolt guns instead of semi-automatic, or machine guns.
Part 2 When Pear harbor happened the US jumpstarted their weapons production. The M1 Garand was being mass produced on a scale never before seen. The tanks became more advance, though not quite on the scale as the Panzer. The Airplanes were being advanced as well.(one of the stand-outs was the P51-D Mustang) In THREE years the US went from this under funded under staffed military to being one of the THREE Superpowers in the world.
Part3 Now in this conflict we have two sides, One is the military, the other is the Intellectual side. Both are important, but if we fail on the intellectual side then the sacrifice of our men and women is a waste. We must not fail. This is just a reminder in what perseverance can accomplish. When we band together and educate people, this conflict ceases to be an impossible victory, merely a difficult one.
