@killa9599 Its not a bad question, just one that is hard to compare. When i shoot a 9mm my wrist moves back just a little, when im shooting my .44 mag my arm moves so the kick is about double maybe more. Kinda like shooting a 12 gauge vs a 5.56.

No. The S&W 686 uses a K and L frame grip.

You will need a N FRAME grip for the model 29.

Also, You need to check if the gun have a round or square butt.

@phil656565 with light loads 325 grain it kicks about like a polymer framed 9mm probably a little harder. but with a hot load 500 grain.... shit kicks like nothing else there is. especially the snub nose model.
