so true about doctors...I do respect them, but their hands must be sore after writing so many scrips. 90% of the time I see my doctor, I walk out with a scrip...no matter what I went to see him about! 50% of those scrips I don't even fill...and they are free for me. You're lucky you live in Canada and have access to free health care. Those of us in the United States are not so lucky where we go without medical attention because we can't afford it. America has the worst health care in the world.

@simonbnyc The U.S. certainly doesn't have the worst in the world. We have the most expensive healthcare in the world, and statistically it ranks below average on many important factors (infant mortality rate ranks in there with 3rd World Countries). Many people who have health insurance still go bankrupt from medical expenses and like you said, all the uninsured people who don't get treated at all.
It's probably safe to say we have the worst healthcare in the industrialized world.

Hi all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. pm me.......
