  • Always a faggot who just HAS to click the dislike button. If only there was no such thing as the dislike button.

  • there make's me smile :)

  • big sigh from Heffron when Bill asks him to sing lol says to me that Heffron dont wanna sing

  • Theyre both still kickin around in Philly. Quite a few Easy company men are still alive. Theres typically a few at the annual WW2 weekend in Reading PA. I go there. I met Compton. As well as plenty of other veterans. I met the navigator who was on one of the planes that dropped the bomb. Can't remember which one. I also met a WW2 ace. I'd really recomend WW2 Weekend. Its awesome. Easy Company Veterans are only a sliver of what you'll find there.

  • Would love to buy these fellers a few rounds of Rye and listen to their stories. God Bless em'

  • Very nice to be in the company of people who value these men. However there are many ignorant and misguided souls that need a SERIOUS wake up call. Roll up your sleeves and Make you voices heard! The people who believe in nothing and would fight for nothing need to be challenged!

  • lmao amazing ilove theses guys

  • The name of the song is "Mairzy Doats."

  • Rofl Bill nobody knows what the hell that is!

  • Can someone tell me please what the name of the song ?

  • @IMFORRESTFORRESTGUMP

From Wikipedia: Mairzy Doats is a novelty song composed in 1943 by Milton Drake, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston. It was first played on radio station WOR, New York, by Al Trace and his Silly Symphonists. The song made the pop charts several times, with a version by the Merry Macs reaching No. 1 in March 1944. In addition to its success on the home front, it was also a hit with American servicemen overseas, who allegedly used its nonsensical lyrics as passwords.

  • @dodger4754 thanks & regards

  • i have some much respects for this man

  • This is really cool indeed. I just watched the series again and could watch it many times more.

Amazing how liberals want the schools to 'forget' the terrible things these guys witnessed. WTF is wrong with the liberals? Are they really that stupid and ignorant?

  • the moron who disliked this must not know what the hell it is.

  • l0l they are the best!!

  • My grandfather, Charles LeLand McMunn was a gunny in the marine Corps. He sang this very song until the day he died. He often told me he would sing it with his friends in a fox hole on Okinawa. Until now I did not realize he was serious. Great to hear two hero bringing my memories back.

  • Bill was best friends with Toye, Martin, Heffron and Malarkey during the war but since Babe and Bill both went back to South Philly to live for the rest of their lives they were able to continue to see each other pretty much every day for the next 60 or so yrs... thats y

  • I love these two heroes! and im halfway through thier book and loving it!

  • all people who served in WWII are heroes

  • These guys are heroes, they were also great in the HBO Band of Brothers series.

  • Definately a better time, I agree. People like these are realy Americans who ACTUALLY care about our country...as do I. People nowadays are brainwashed into hating America and it makes me sick.

  • i feel the same way man.

  • I agree! I have been remembering D-Day all day today. Proud to be an American! My grandfather fought in the pacific and he makes me proud as well as all the men - American, English, Australian, Canadian, etc who fought along side us....

  • my great grandpa was in the 101st airborne with these guys just not the same company i think idk, im proud of any american or any one who served in ww2 they are all heros

  • i agree 100%, i leave for the army july 23rd, im gonna be an airborne ranger so il be following in these true americans footsteps.

  • My Favourites

    1st. Bill Guarnere

    2st. Bull Randleman

    3st. Dick Winters

    4st. Don Malarkey

    5st. Babe Heffron / Perconte

  • All of Easy Company are heroes

  • all who helped in WW2 is heroes

  • @IMFORRESTFORRESTGUMP Not Norman Dike lol

  • @IMFORRESTFORRESTGUMP Except for Lieutenant Dike. lol

  • wild bill, and lipton were my favorite characters

nixon sounded like an ass, but his character was very funny..

let me know if you see some bacon sandwhich LMAO

  • See the songs that these men would sing in a fox hole. More class than almost any kid around now a days. Now, they will sing about pimpin, and slappin a ho. That is exactly what went wrong in our country. We lost our culture. Remember, that eazy co. was a bunch of immigrants sons from all over. They assumed the language, and the culture of the USA. Now our culture is sex, money, and greed at any cost. We will surely lose freedom if we don't learn a thing or 2 from Guarnere and Heffron. PATRIOTS!

  • yeah dude......its called evolution, dont get me wrong evolution must not be a good thing ;)

    greets from germany...

  • i agree this is why i look up to these guys so much. Our culture is crap now just sex and money and George W. Bush

  • then you are a total waste

of space it is such a pitty

    you can still draw breath

    i can not belive america

    did this to its self

but then you learn by your

    mistakes

  • Rap is gross and all it talks about is sweaty Black people smoking and killing eachother like animals.

  • I have that song (mp3). Mairzy Doats by the Pied Pipers. Great song. I was a rock and roll freak when I was young, but I learned to appreciate the music that my father listened to back in the 40's.

Mare's eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy... a kid'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you?

  • Me Too! I Love the old stuff. I know that Rum & Coca Cola was a fav of Bills as well! I can listen to The Andrews Sisters and Glenn Miller just as easy as AC/DC or Ozzy. I think Bill may just have a little Ozzy in him! LoL

  • Oh yeah! I downloaded tons of stuff. I also have Oklahoma! South Pacific. Really great stuff. I think it's really cool that when you went out with your girl, you listened and danced to live bands. My dad loved Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. I like to listen to them too. Dad would probably get a real kick out of me listening to his music if he were still with us.

  • Awh! Same here. I really didn't want much to do with the music when my Dad was here. Ashamed of that now. Folks loved to dance. My Mom knows I love the music now. It brings back memories for her. She gets tickled and starts dancing a jig when I pull out The Big Bands! LOL She's 82 Bless her!

  • Who quoted the line not everything in war is about death???

  • What a HOOT!! This is awesome! I'd sing a 40's tune with them!

  • wow...this is very interesting..i kno this song...and its great that they remember this...GREAT job guys...GO BAND OF BROTHERS!!

  • wow you spent two weeks with them?...AWESOME! id love to talk to these guys!

  • did garnere really get his leg blown off

  • yes

  • shame

i hope they live the rest of their lives in happiness :D

  • would you happen to know if hes still friends with toye? i havent seen anything about joe toye...

  • Joe Toye died. I don't know when, but his son was interviewed on one of the Band of Brothers CD's. He said his father wanted his headstone to have E Company 506 PIR, 101st Airborne on it. Joe Toye looked like a rough character. I wouldn't want to mess with him.

  • Yeah I know.... Did you Carwood Lipton died right after they made Band Of Brothers? Sad.

  • Yes, I knew he passed away. Those guys are in their 80's now. We owe those old guys so much for what they did.

  • I agree. It a very great thing they did.

  • NAGGERNUTZ:

Yeah its good that the ones that are still alive, are still alive, they are true heroes. yeah they are in their 80's now.. BTW, did you know Winters is like 90 something now?

  • you remind me so much of the vets who used to play softball at the firehouse ballpark, and the coach Wayne Johnson who taught us little league ball. He had lost a leg.I remember watching him getting in his truck. He did alright. He was one helluva coach, got us all baseballcaps somehow.

You may not want to be called heros and that's alright by me. yet you guys and guys like you helped shape the world of lots of little kids. Thanks

  • only just found out about the book now. I am going to buy a copy to read.

These guys are something special. If I ever have a bad day I watch Band of Brothers and it puts things into perspective and makes me realise that I have got nothing to complain about.

    Greetings from the UK.

  • if you buy it from Bill himself, he will sign it and personalize it

  • ha gaurnere was my favorite character in band of brothers hes cool i wonder if thats wat he was really like
