I can't help but notice, though, from 2:37 to 2:50, the song. bears a strong resemblance to another, quite famous piece I've heard somewhere. Especially at 2:49, where your right hand hits an E and moves up to F#... except the other piece I'm thinking of repeats the E instead of hitting F#. Do you have any idea what I'm thinking of?
I have to ask: Do you take requests? I can't help but notice that you have not uploaded any more of your beautiful performances in over a year. I showed your videos to a friend and she would be delighted if you played Mozart's Turkish Rondo and wore the hat that you were wearing in your video of Mendelssohn's Song Without Words op. 67 no.2.
as always your artistry and love of music was ultimately expressed in this wonderful piece...not so complete without seeing you as well Sandro...but we thank you always for your generosity and kind heart...goodluck on your photography, perhaps soon you'll be able to share with us all the treasure and beauty you have captured with your camera...Happy holiday and keep safe and healthy as well.♫
This is a very musical performance of a nice and meditative piece. You play it with a great sensivity. Bravo! I´m missing more actual videos of you, Sandro! This is from march and we have 1st of may and you usually were always very productive. Hope, nothing serious happened!
Oh, photography is very interesting indeed and the combination of music and pictures (also movies) is a very creative and interesting field. May be you can combine both interests? (I would like to recommend the videos of Truus1949 on youtube. You can find the link below my last Chopin-video.)
This is a beautiful piece of music interpreted wonderfully. I am very proud of my fathers composition and its the first time I've heard it played by someone else. It has added a special magic to it.
I've known and listened to Don's work for many years, this prelude in particular is one of my favourites. Played here by Sandro as Don has written it ... from the heart!
Oh, too much kind, thank you. I admit to be really happy because the composer wrote he liked. Each interpretation is unique and personal, but it's better if it doesn't go AGAINST the composer desires. With living composers one can control this.
Thank you Sandro, that was a wonderful rendition of my Prelude in Db, it made me so happy to hear it played by such a proficient pianist as yourself,the feeling you put into it comes over perfect. All my thanks Don..
Lovely performance. Really beautifully played.

@Incendiae4 thank you!
I don't remember any particular piece. Surely, the chopinesque and romantic mood and melodic patterns are "in air"...
SarrasaniPianoCircus 1 year ago
@SarrasaniPianoCircus By the way, I meant C instead of E. My bad.
Hmm, thanks for trying to identify it anyway. ;)

Serious.....I'm becoming passionate about photography, this is the fact.
But I continue with piano, only a more "prudent" approach.
Bye Andreas, thank you, and again congratulations for your last wonderful Chopin nocturne.
