Though you belong to somebody else Tonight, you belong to me Though we're apart You're part of my heart Tonight you belong to me Down by the stream How sweet it will seem Once more to dream In the moonlight... Though with the dawn I know you'll be gone Tonight, you belong to me!
HAY!! I See You Have At Least One Of These Awsome Path`e Marbled Records! I Have Quite A Few Of These, And Love Every One Of Them. I LOVE THE SONG & Beautiful Beautiful Video! Thank You So Much For Posting.
I have 5 or 6 of these splash wax records. I will try to get them all posted soon. I do have another posted here now by the Palace Garden Orchestra played on one of my victrolas. Thanks for listening!
I can't control the speed with my modern turntables, only on my victrolas. So it's at 78 r.p.m. I believe. I've got replacement needles coming for my turntables, so I'll be recording on my victrolas for the next couple of weeks.
I would say whatever suites your taste and the speed you like listening to the best. Pathe's are funny because they were definitely recorded at various speeds. Have a fantastic weekend !
Thank you for the nice comment. I found this wonderful program on my computer that I've never used until now called Windows Movie Maker. The funny part is that I could have been using it all along. I still don't know too much about it, but I figure out a little more each day. The main reason for using it is to record directly to my computer from my turntable so the sound is better.

I recall the 1960's version, which is when I first heard this piece. I like this recording. Thanks for posting it.

@mmay519 Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, they can't all sound as good as this one.

I've seen the splash once on a record made in 1918, with all the colors of the flags of the allied nations.

What speed did you play this at? I have some and they seem too slow at 78 but better at 80.

I think yours sounds good at the speed it is playing at. I was just trying to determine what the best playing speed would be for these pathe records.

You out did yourself! Classic b/w pictures and a great voice! I like the vintage "jittering" images, how do you do it?
