We saw them live in The Woodlands TX (Houston - sorta) last night. They were such a blast and you could tell they really really enjoy performing and that in itself was such a pleasure to watch!!!! They opened for Foreigner and Journey. Like Like Like alot!

Night ranger = pure talent, plugged or unplugged, sounds as great today as they did back in the day. Saw them last night, could listen all night--- too bad they only had 30 mins!! Sang along at the top of my lungs, worth every bit of the laryngitis today!!

XM has something they call a podcast, which is a snippet of less than 5 mins. of mostly George Taylor Morris (the moderator) telling about the episode. I can't find the entire 1 hour show anywhere, and of all times, my XM receiver was broke during the 3 weeks they aired it. By the time I replaced it, they stopped airing the Night Ranger show.

The are genuinely GREAT guys. Met them at the XM studios a couple years ago in DC. They were recording a show called Artist Confidential. There was maybe 30 of his there., we were in a holding area until they were setup for recording. After about 45 mins. over the start time, and a couple producers coming and saying "soon", Jack Blades comes down the hall. He says "Hi everybody, I'm Jack Blades singer for Night Ranger... we're having some problems, thanks for coming!" LOL

The way you can tell GOOD quality MUSIC... is, when you pull the amps, kill the effects and distortion and pedals.... and strip it down to the old fashioned MANUAL MODE Acoustics.... and it STILL WORKS.. THAT is the real deal!!! Seen Bill Idol, and a ton of REAL artists do this..... take these "new" artists, pull the electronics, and you've pulled thier teeth!!! Rap and Hip hop??? TRASH! LOL!!!

These guys are aging nicely. They're maturing as musicians and as a band. Too bad they've been reduced to state fairs, local festivals and tiny venues. I was 16 in 1985 when they were at thier peak. Lotsa good memories. Peace!
