I believe that a Biochemist would be more qualified when researching brain chemistry. Also PTSD patients are also more qualified at understanding it in comparison to someone that hasnt experienced it. I was with you until you said desensitize. You see, the problem is that the norm has been desensitized as a whole already from subconscious entrainment of TV. By seeing violence only dulls your response. So people walk right by a women being raped on the sidewalk instead of using the Amygdala when necessary to stop the violator. But now we have a world of generation kill. A world that is so dulled that they say, "Not my problem." Yet this action disregaurds any consciencious accountability.

Thank you for the info as I have been diagnosied with PTSD and never realized there was music theropy I guess its what I have always done on my own to help drown out some of the syptoms I get or what have ya. Thank you for the info.

How about my 25 migraines a month my guts hurting, I went out side the wire KBR truck driver. 2005. Tel Afar ,Mosul , Al Assad, Ballad, Hit and the Palace Mosul. We had less armor and no weapons. Getting blown up was the problem over there. You know what I'm talking about don't you. Civilian contractors we come under the base defense act, I have a attorney friend refer to it like the merchant marine. There is help for us now. TTM northwoods

I was in service, and I recovered, but.. I do moral speeches now. Mainly in training camps, rehabilitation centres... and universities. This is a sad mental state.. it makes you suicidal, aggressive, and often homicidal. So, yeah, Im glad they are trying new things.

The cure for PTSD is Iboga/ibogian, and Ayahuasca treatment... Used right.. Those drugs will cure mentle illness.. This theopist wont cure you with his treatment.

Thats where everybody goes wrong, claiming there is ONE cure for every type of person out there. I do not know what Iboga/ibogian is but Ayahuasca?? Are you saying that having a shaman lead you through a hallucinogenic state is going to cure people??

Even if what you are saying is true, it will never be true for ALL, theres no one cure fits all in the realm of psychology...CBT has successfully treated millions, and it is thoroughly documented...but it doesnt cure all.
