what u mean, okay so what i have done, is been able to hook my laptop to my hdtv with hdmi, sadly the hdmi is only output, so for playing ps3 on my laptop i bought the hp tv tuner set up, so i can hook up composite cables and was able to record some cod4, playing through the quickplay hp thing it comes with.

Sorry nope. Maybe at lowest settings you can and you need may need some hassle mods. Just do a youtube search for x3100 you see some videos on people playing games on it.

the touch pad isnt on the left its centerd infront of the letter part of the keyboard in the dv2000 and dv6000 but when you get the dv9000 they add a keypad but they keep the touchpad in the same spot infront of the letter part of the keyboard

The 8400M GS comes with an HDMI port. If you get the the cheap GMA card then you just get an extra USB port.
