  • staying late and sleeping in is not really a bad thing to do as long as you have a 7 - 8 hour sleep, supplements, very good live plant-based diet and regular workout. Tim Ferris sleep at 2 p.m. to write and wake up at 10 a.m. A very strong, highly successful and healthy man. Yet, you're so right, sleep early and get the habit of waking up early to catch more worms.

  • I enjoy your show very much. You have a beautiful family & I hope many wonderful blessings your way. Thank you for your dedication to helping people to see that they CAN make the most out of their life, & it's up to each of us to do it. We're nobody's baby, & we are all responsible to make decisions for our own life to make it the best that it can be.

  • People live their life to a normalcy bias. Most don't know how to make decisions in life by evaluating situations from a neutral perspective. So, if someone never learned HOW to have an open mind & look at all aspects to come to a logical outcome, then of course they'll make biased decisions. Our world is RUN by OUR insecurities (this is what makes an economy even possible). People revolve everything in their life around their fears of rejection! We're taught that is what healthy behavior is.

  • I did an experiment. I was eating raw for several months. Then treated myself to a baked salmon yesterday. I figured that would be a fairly benign cooked animal protein source to consume. Woke up today without energy, sluggish, slight headache. Conclusion: you're right, Paul.

  • @theduriankind , lol that was funny :-D (im a girl). Sorry if i offended you.

  • @ibake5 LOL, please don't grow a beard

  • Obviously, fast food burgers, fries and shakes are at the far end of the healthy eating continuum. We all know that.

But I can't see why you assert that cooking vegetables or fruit makes them harder to digest. There's just no foundation to that.

Also, subscribing to a "natural diet" is not informed. People in all parts of the world live longer than they did as hunters and foragers. The idea that people in a natural, animal-like world lived healthier may be appealing, it's not true.

  • @HealthyEatingAce why you cook food you destroy the enzymes. The enzymes are what help the food to digest.

  • @thedurianking When we say that enzymes help digestion what we mean is that they break large molecules into smaller molecules. That is also what cooking does.

There are benefits to eating plants raw, but there are also benefits to eating them cooked.

  • Please cut your beard... :-(

  • @ibake5 Grow a beard :-)

  • @thedurianking u dont look that healthy, why on earth are u still in the game

  • A good positive message, keep working on us, we need your help.

  • Can't wait for retreat deets!

  • This was very helpful. Love it.

  • obesity is the new healthy normal (you put the word health in front of a cheese burger then it becomes a healthy cheese burger ie (you ad extra cheese therefore its become healthy lol very sad world where good is bad and bad is good

  • we can watch your DVDs on our computers :) I havent had a TV for years and I dont even have time to miss it!! lol the only thing u said here that i am still finding challenging is the getting to bed on time. SOOO need help in that area. Tonight i will do it for sure.

    Happy Sabbath Paul :)

  • I don't want to be "normal" either! :D

  • I totally agree with you Mr. Nison. You are spot on! It's just so backwards today.

  • That's one wise men right here! Thanks for sharing the wise counsels Paul

  • Amazing video man!!! I love it!! thanks for being so blunt, this message helped me so much thank you thank you!!!

  • wine. one quarter liter glass of red wine is proven to be healthy for cardiovescular circulation. you also can eat blackberries or grapes. so you can skip the wine. still if you look at the meditarianian diet. you see how healthy the wine drinkers are. you make a lot of false myth up paul...or do i misunderstand your words. Two bluezones Ikaria and Sardinia are drinking wine and eating bread. also okinawa maybe drinking wine. not from grape maybe from rice or so or plum.

  • My father actually kicked the console tv out the front door when I was a kid and we spent years without it. I read alot of books and spent time outdoors and I am thankful to this day the tv left so I could grow a love for books and nature! More people need to hear this message today-thank you for sharing it.

  • They didnt overeat. This icant sayfor durianrider or Micheal arnstein. Its not over eating its just make sure to get your calories. I think overeating is one of the things whcih are very controversial. yeah the blue zone found that the people eat only little or half fill their stomache. just remember a gorilla in the wild male eats 70lbs that 30kg a day. and a femal 40 lbs. What ever. just imagine overeating and overeating are two different things. one is feeding yourself. the other is sick.

  • Thanks for the video Paul. You are an inspiration.

  • WHY DO YOU DELETE COMMENTS MAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • @IWantSoundKnowledge I delete comments when someone curses in their comment.

  • Down with Monsanto. Up with the fruits and vegetables. Thanks for the video and inspiration.

  • I share your views about food but here organic food is really expensive and im on a sort of welfare for sick people because i suffered a total burnout after working myself to collapsing and still have extreme violent outbursts, im forced to buy normal fruits and veggies and nuts are so expensive here its insane, so how bad is it for eating fruits that are sprayed(i do shop at the store that has the lowest toxic levels of all shops), and growing own food here is difficult here

  • Being A.B.normal will make people C!! IT IS easy as 1.2.3!! Keep it up man!!!!

  • Thank you Paul. I got rid of the Microwave over 6 years ago. TV is something I hate. The Lord shared with me well over 20 years ago, the the tv was a programing device, to control people. I told Him I wanted to be programed by Him, His Holy Word=Truth and Life. YHVH is Good and His Mercy endures forever.

  • Everybody think I'm abnormal to because I eat raw foods and because I do not watch TV.

  • @MissRawSweden maybe we can make a summer free rawfood gathering in sweden.

  • you are funny Paul but you tell the truth keep your game strong buddie

  • Wow, normal huh???? Well, I'm abnormal with you!!! And I'm ok with it!! lol This is a new lifestyle for me and its making total abnormal sense. My body is responding quite well to this lifestyle. Thanks raw guru.

  • Thanks for this video Paul!! love it !!

  • Really good video... Subscribed!

  • Funny....

  • Its okay to be different--remember that bc people will try to make you feel bad for wanting to be healthy/different

  • "Abby someone... Abbey who?" ... "Abby...nawwwwmal"- great movie Paul; great analogy. It was the first thing I pictured when I saw your email title. THIS video blog you just made sums it up.

  • Aargh. I was sitting here at my desk, munching on grapes when you warned about how dangerous grapes are. I live in the midwest (it's snowing as I type this), so I can't get 'em from the garden, and there aren't any organic grapes available locally (I know, I checked yesterday).

*sigh* ...NOW what am I gonna eat?

    --Dan

  • on fire. nice video!

  • It's the user of the tools, not the tools that are bad. The TV is a device to be used in a way that the user has the control and is not a slave to its "programming". I get this argument/debate whenever people say guns are bad. (No, guns aren't, People are.) As much as we want to spread the healthy living word, there are some people who are content with being a slave. I also completely agree with the microwave being bad.

  • Is there anywhere online where you can buy organic grapes?

  • What's "normal"? FOLLOW YOUR HEART, BE THE CHANGE!
