  • a flam is two notes extremely close together E.G. in a bar of 4/4 you could have 4 flams as crotchets so you would have the crotchet not with a small note in front of it (Im not sure what its called annoyingly). a drag on the other hand is the same kinda set of notes accept you have 2 very small notes as apposed to just the 1 like in a flam

    however i think you mean they sound different (maybe) instead of looking different on the staff

  • @drummerbombom A flam is a ghost note followed by a full stroke. The look as different as they sound.

    in the song becoming by Pantera, the drummer uses that but i knew it like tripplets and its always with right side, not changing to left side.

    He uses it on the double pedal and another way to do it is to move the tempo to the other hand or foot doing singles

    Am I right??
