When I "came to California" back in 1997 my first impression was the wide endless horizons and the desert mountains, pick up trucks and bustling highways, hot sun and SMOOTH JAZZ .... Next time I travel to California I hope to "catch a cable car" in San Fransisco and maybe explore the "ancient Aldo Forests" ..... and check out the pretty girls in Zuma.
i like it - think the harmonic changes gives it a good modern feel.... it's carleen anderson's vocals that make it though, her vocals are something else and really classy
When I'm not mistaken , Carleen Anderson was a member of "The Young Disciples" who made an absolute incredible album "Road to freedom" in the early 90's !
Hey Sebbo I got a better one ! "Zoooooma .... Oh I'd like to bust a nut on .... Zooooma .. Fuckin' all those pretty girls .... Vennnnnnice .... It gets really strange walkin' through venice ... there's a lot of hos on ice .. San Fransiscoooo ..... Catch a cable car to the sluts n' hos Casino .... there's a lotta make believe ... San Diegoooo ..... pimpin sluts and trying cocaine while sippin' coco's .... IN THE ANCIENT ALDO FORRREST"
The ultimate sleazy jazz tune. Many summer nights were spent at Central Park banging pussy to the beat of this song. I was homeless back then and living in a cardboard box. Now I got a pimp empire and I live in the penthouse suite of the Empire State Building. How times change..... look what smooth jazz (sleaze jazz) can do for you !!
good job!

If I'd heard this version first I never would be playing it in my car. Where are all those cool chord changes? Sounds lame.

@ThePhatboy3 : Whooo, you are so right. What happened, here? Maybe because it's live. But it does the album version NO JUSTICE!

That bass player in the background is having a REAL good chuckle at 3.06 -3.12.
