One of the best things about the cat woman that Michelle Pfeiffer portrayed, was that it was sort of believable, and right on the ragged edge of mental collapse. And then she dresses up as a cat and falls in love with a man dressed as a bat. How ironic is that ?

And the fact that te woman behind the Cat Woman, was ever so slightly insane, (the character I mean, not the actress), added a lot of very welcome tension during the movie.
