actually no, your finger doesnt hurt anymore than just shooting the rifle normally (which doesnt hurt at all)

They have many different types of aftermarket stocks for the SKS.

Are you sure that the rifle is an SKS because to me it looks like an AK-47 SVD (dragunov)rifle. if it is an SKS where did he get the SVD's stock from and how did he retro fit it onto an SKS,

it definently is a SKS, i am the one shooting it and it is my gun. It is the Dragunov stock. Search "Dragunov SKS" online and you will see them!
