This is like traditional rock mixed with Pop hooks and rock instrumentation. It's peer genious, all there songs are genious, so genious that the Ocasek himself cant figure out a good genre to call the band or there songs so he calls everything pop, EVERYTHING!! It really annoys me, but, rock bands can be like that.

This sounds like very early Cars. Ian Lloyd covered this in 1979 on his Goosebumps LP. Lloyd's version is much better. Cars are great. An eighties band that just doesn't seem to get the recognition they deserve.

I was one of the 12 people who bought the Ian LLoyd single version of this song.This is the first time Ive heard the Cars version.Pretty damned cool.
