@melkior33 Thanks for your comment. This is a video from the 70's. The interview is Brian Magee, who apparently is an expert of philosophy in general. He later published a compilation of interviews of this type, I forget the title though.

Linguistics is indeed an interesting branch of science which relates to psychology, biology, physics, philosophy, neuroscience etc. Good luck with your studies. I am still learning as well.
