to this old man this is what every rock n roll band stood for, and by the grace of the gods will in their own unique way, sound like. . . its only rock n roll and it kicks still kicks my ass
*Amazed*.. I just cant stand music and kids these days.. The 70's were the best times to live in.. And I was born in the 80's.. Notice how their all holding instruments (save mic, unless you count his voice) and not sitting behind some huge azz machine making music for them. I swear, if I could single handedly wipe 90's and 2000's music from the face of this earth I would do it without thinking twice.. THE STONES ARE THE BEST!!! THE BEST!!!!
Yea, I heard the 90's crap.. Grew up listening to it.. I just started to listen to The Stones like two years ago.. I found myself saying what most crackheads say when they smoke crack the first time, "Where has this drug been all my life?"..Like I said, I'd wipe 90's music off this earth.. I feel I missed out on Earth's best years.. SMH.. =(
Mick Taylors chord riffs don't seem to fit in this take. His tone is bright, and they conflict with Keith's. I always thought Mick Taylor had to force his way into the mix, what with all his singular note riffing going on.
i never thought of jagger as much of a songwriter ,but how wrong i was on the l.p the words are so low in the mix, fuckin great l.p though "fever in the funk house know"
Mick Taylor and Keith playing together will never be duplicated. They drive this whole band...Keith with driving riffs and Taylor with melodic and genius inspired lead guitar fills and solos. After MT left, the stones plummetted into the depths of mediocrity
The best rock song ever by the greatest rock band ever when they were playing their best music ever with their best musicians ever. It's a superlative performance. Now, I can watch it twice without confusing the defective YT memory play list function. So, many felicitations to you for uploading a 'back-up copy,' in case RWeGhosts who first uploaded this stupendously stunning performance has an agonizing reappraisal of its merits and decides to remove the video. Doubtful, but why take chances?

You obviously haven't been introduced to the right kind of 90s music.

This song is just pure gold from the Rolling Stones. It sounds a bit timeless to me.

Dirty, rotten- toothed Keith playing his grimy telecaster with nicotine- stained fingers.
Sounds like a angel.
