Crikey this video takes me back -- mostly to staggering home pissed at 5am from the pub last summer and then switching on the old PC and firing up a few old games. I haven't had a decent piss-up all summer which is why this utterly knackered video is probably going to remain one of a kind.... for a while at least.

Great review mate, I thought I was the only one that was still playin this kind of stuff in the morning wankered! lol great memories though, my cousin used to bring her spectrum over when I was about 6 years old and used to play this a lot and then when I got my own speccy when I was 7 I played this for hours. Could never et many items tho just enjoyed exploring, i'm 25 now and still cant get any further. This should be number one for hardest ever game, great stuff, cheers for this.

I think it's because it's the 128K version of JSW which seems to be JSW2 with different music. So there's a lot of strange rooms that aren't in the original but the Banyan Tree remains the same.

Ummm ... collie, maybe you haven't realised this, but you don't actually have do the Banyan Tree. You can go along underneath & approach that screen from the other side, which is a heck of a lot easier. Never completed this game, either. My best was about 30 odd objects collected. Preferred Manic Miner.

Yea I know you don't have to - but it's a challenge: it's there to test your gaming skills! Anyway the entire game is a nightmare, but this is the most infamous part of the game, and the one thing most players daren't attempt.
