his vocals sound slightly bad because his mic is direct input into the board and you have to have your lips touching the mic in order to have any sound go thru. they do this to prevent feedback. thats why you cant here the bassist as well.

so you can hear every little thing on the lead vox mic :/

The video quality is normal. That's what happens when a band sings live and their audio is recorded from the board. In a studio, you are standing still giving it your best. When a band is live, you have to factor in that they've been doing this every night for weeks and they are moving around.

That being said...they don't sound great here.

yeah and unless a concert is set up to be recorded live, it never sounds good on recordings like this because the recording equipment isnt meant to pick up this type of audio so it sounds horrible. it doen't necessarily mean that the band cant play live
