If you had to choose between a sub machine gun which is mediocre at best at all ranges or one that excells in one area, which would you choose?

Rather than have a mediocre gun and a hard to use but rewarding as hell range weapon (rocket launcher,) you go with a gun that specializes at another area (up close) and use your skill to fill in for what you'll lack. In this case you will have no middle range option, but if you don't do any shooting people will usually come to you....=)

@swedishmans Well, It's true that in clanmatches and gathers etc. there are no unlocks, but still people should play this game for it's fun and not take it too seriously.

Yeah, but In IO servers the anti-tank kit is handicapped as it is. To stick with a submachine gun that's disadvantageous against AK-101s and the ilk makes it even worse. Well, to each his own, but you have to give credit to the only class that has a shotgun body armor combo....you can almost never lose up close.
