They knew that if they continued to say it was the church would fall as more and more blatant mistakes are found in the bible. First of all, almost all of the bibles predictions have been wrong. Also the are MULTIPLE different bibles. Are they all correct? The bible contradicts itself dozens of times, it will say one thing and then another in a different section.
Evolution does not address how life started. Abiogenisis does not say we came from a 'rock'. We are organic molecules, we came from organic molecules, not rocks or rock 'dust''.

The 1st thing I do when I see "Dr." associated with a religious zealot is find out where they went to school. In this case, a quick search reveals that "Dr" Baugh is no "Dr.". Imagine you start with 1 million dollars, split it into 1 million 1$ bank accounts. One of those bank accounts has the highest rate of interest, so over time that bank account ends up with more money than all the others combined. It will seem miraculous that most of the dollars in the world end up in the beneficial account, but it's really just math at work.
Why do they bring up Newton in a programme about evolution vs creation? Newton never heard the theory of evolution because he was dead when it was suggested. Are we to start teaching alchemy because Newton was an alchemist? He was a genius mathematician/physicist, not biologist and existed at a time when society was very religious.

Evolution is not a religion. It has no god. Do not presume Darwin is some sort of god. No reputable scientist worships him. He is simply a brilliant man of his time, and his works are something we use today to build even more brilliant works.
Dawkins is brilliant, I agree (with does not imply that he is unequivocal), i like his rethorics.
But on the other hand, Evolution has both sides, Sicence and Faith. Many brilliant sicentists and philosophers have recognized the faith components of some statements of the theory of evolution. Even Karl Popper qualified "natural selection" as a pseudoscience, because it cannot be falsified, neither proved.
The point is that faith is required to believe in things that "could possibly be" (as evolutionists say), but havent been proved in a laboratory, just like abiogenesis and many speciations.
It's not that we "believe" that the scientific viewpoint "COULD" be the answers. It's that we derived hypotheses from observable evidence. Scientists do not claim that Abiogenesis is an absolute fact. They claim it is the best answer given the inability to go to that time and verify it directly. That said, the evidence for Abiogenesis is tremendous.
Speciation is consistent with evolution, no matter what you claim the circumstances are, all are the result of evolutionary theory.

I think the evolution becomes a theology to a person if that people believes that the evolution is true since it is a theory (not fact yet). Believeing fact is science, believing things that are not fact is theory or theology. Yes, there are things that can't be tested like existance of God or Holy Spirit so you say it is a theology. So is evolution. It is a evolutionary theory, not law.

The 1st thing I do when I see "Dr." associated with a religious zealot is find out where they went to school. In this case, a quick search reveals that "Dr" Baugh is no "Dr.". He's a known liar and conman who regularly deals with other conmen. He's even paid a murderer & forgery expert for items to put in his museum. This is well-known information. Have to say though, "modern theory of Scientism" made me giggle, but this is just offencive. Please, just do something as simple as look up Evolution on wikipedia. It has nothijng to do with biogenesis, nothing to do with planets. All it is, is the idea that through mutation, when a mutation is beneficiary, that mutation will be passed on to it's offspring. That's all. Nothing more.

You've left out natural selection (why the beneficial mutations take over) the point that makes it reasonable.
Imagine you start with 1 million dollars, split it into 1 million 1$ bank accounts. One of those bank accounts has the highest rate of interest, so over time that bank account ends up with more money than all the others combined. It will seem miraculous that most of the dollars in the world end up in the beneficial account, but it's really just math at work.

Why do they bring up Newton in a programme about evolution vs creation? Newton never heard the theory of evolution because he was dead when it was suggested. Are we to start teaching alchemy because Newton was an alchemist? He was a genius mathematician/physicist, not biologist and existed at a time when society was very religious.

The video relies heavily in the assumption that god(s) exist. By not engaging evolutionary theory directly (using ad homenims rather than actual argumentation), the creationists here do a terrible job of rebutting academic proof of evolution.
In short words, their goal is to divide the Christian faith by hardlining and trying to place a problem with being Atheist. They don't actually say much about evolution here.
They should keep in mind that religion and science are not related.

But on the other hand, Evolution has both sides, Sicence and Faith. Many brilliant sicentists and philosophers have recognized the faith components of some statements of the theory of evolution. Even Karl Popper qualified "natural selection" as a pseudoscience, because it cannot be falsified, neither proved.

It's not that we "believe" that the scientific viewpoint "COULD" be the answers. It's that we derived hypotheses from observable evidence. Scientists do not claim that Abiogenesis is an absolute fact. They claim it is the best answer given the inability to go to that time and verify it directly. That said, the evidence for Abiogenesis is tremendous.
Speciation is consistent with evolution, no matter what you claim the circumstances are, all are the result of evolutionary theory.

Is evident that Richard Dawkins believe in abiogenesis as a fact, that is what he says in their books, documentaries, interviews, debates etc. He say "i believe it, altough we dont yet understand it".
For sure that is an hyphotesis, as well as the existence of fliying unicorns could be if we ever get to find their fossils.
The point is that if I believe in flying unicorns because I like it, and it fits to my paradigm, that is definetly faith.

The greatest gift we every received was freewill so in order to have an alternative choice from God's loving ways there must be the opposite as well. If there was no choice, no freewill and the choice to Love someone is the ultimate act of compassion. He chose us, but not all of us choose him, unfortunately.

This is kind of ironic, because while I myself an not a father (to my knowledge) I am a new Uncle, and I had a moment similar to this with my neice. I looked into her eyes as she was playing with her nesting blocks and I saw all the potential in the world resting deep within them. I saw a life full of joy and learning and accomplishment. I swore at that point to keep not just her safe in body, but in mind. I want her to have a future full of opportunity, not shackled by mysogynistic mythology.

If you want to have a rational discussion with most non-believers such as myself, here are a few things to keep in mind.
-Have a decent understanding of evolution. (evolution =/= abiogenesis)
-Evolution DOES NOT disprove the existant of a "god"
-If evolution were not true, the default position is NOT "god did it." You have first prove that there is a god AND distinguish this god from the thousands of others.

What the hell is an "Evolutionist" anyway? you make it sound like a religion, and I among others am very tired of hearing that. evolution is a scientific theory supported by an incredible amount of evidence. It is not a religion or a philosophy. The only reason it is even called a theory is because we haven't identified every single step of the process over the last few billion years.
Creationism is a religious belief supported by nothing but a book and a bunch of people who believe that book.

What about fossilised trilobites, dinosaurs, and the other 90% of the fossil record made of animals and plants that don't exist today?
And why DON'T we find many modern day animals buried deep down along side all these exinct animals? Why don't we find rabbit fossils in cambrian strata? Why don't we find human fossils deeper than 200,000 year old rock? Why do we find similar fossils showing a gradual change between strata?

No, the needed fossils are not absent. every fossil is a transitional fossil, line them up you can see evolution taking place before your eyes. But if you would rather believe magic man did it then so be it.
