@rick071100 the style is which I remember Bijan Mortazavi mastered back in the 80s and 90s, however it has spread far beyond Iran. This guy is Azerbaijani, and JIhad akl is Lebanese and they've incorporated their own styles to it. So I would say its a regional style that originated in Iran. I've noticed a lot of Russians and and people from ex-soviet republics are really into this as well. It is a very cool sound "electric speed violin"
