  • People tend to get defensive when their worldview is tenuous... because they feel threatened by the truth. The truth doesn't require passionate conviction to speak for it; the truth always speaks for itself.

  • this wasn't a joke slamming Christianity. this was a joke about half assed Christians. there was no reason to explode into debate over this.

  • *scrolls down see's the first comment was predictably a theism/atheism debate argument, walks away* Theist dumbasses.

  • Dang, people! I'm a Christian (at least I try to be; suffering fools and forgiveness are not two of my strong points, I admit) but the guy told a freaking JOKE. It's not so much about religion as it is about blind faith, anyway. It applies equally to, for example, Darwinism: people believe absolutely in evolution who've never EVER read "On the Origin of Species"!

The crack about it being like an online contract is FUNNY stuff!

Of Faith, Hope and Charity, only Hope should be blind.

  • @KaptKan1 One should not read "On the Origin of Species" if one wishes to understand the Theory of Evolution. Rather, one should read a more current book. Books such as "The Blind Watchmaker", "The Selfish Gene", "Genome", and "What is Evolution". While the basics of Evolution have their roots in "Origin", the science has progressed far beyond what is in that venerable tome.

  • @davev1968 One bloody well SHOULD read Darwin's messed up crackpot guesswork in order to realise just how loony that "venerable tome" is, even though it's a wee bit of an embarrassment to the evolution dogma. One would do well to also peruse "Darwin's Black Box", "Darwinian Fairy Tales" and a whole library of other viewpoints. The science is having trouble progressing beyond the barricade of dogmatic Darwinism, just as plate tectonics had to struggle against entrenched isostasy theory.

  • Religious people are ones that can't figure out the difference between good and bad by themselves.

    :p

  • Hah. SO true...

  • wow let the chaos ensue

  • I couldn't agree with you more. The way I see it, people initially use religion as a moral scapegoat; As though they have a higher purpose for their "moral" lives.

But the thing is, people who aren't blinded by faith and still lead good lives are infinitely more deserving of salvation by a "god", if one did exist. Now that's irony.

There's a difference between being compassionate and being pious. :)

  • LOL, that was pretty good.

  • Good point bit come on I want jokes about the Muslims!!

  • ...whats the difference?, they're theist too. the joke applies to them as well.

  • Chill man, he never said he was christian. He never said hes even looked in a bible. Just take a chill.

  • whatever,easy to gues that he isn't.

    it is cheap mockery

  • Cause blind faith is quite funny. :P

  • faith is about believing.

    And believing has

    NOTHING to do with "seeing"

    or "knowing".

There is no need to believe

    in visible and concrete.

  • I know that. But I still don't understand how they convince peoples to their faith. "Hey, listen, I have no proof of what I say, but if you don't believe in this, you'll go to hell, which by the way is a place you'll need to belive in too, cause otherelse I make no sense! Teehee... So... wanna be blind? :D"

  • So you think God should be visible and present here. In that case NOBODY would show their true nature! And evil must be separated from good. One goes to hell ONLY be cause of the sins! NEVER be cause of NOT believing .Only the best Christians in history were capable of some true believing. Christianity is about love and feeling.Hart not brains! About "proof" we can feel in hart.
  • It is a point, but you'll agree with me, religions divide people at least as much as they unite them. Religions are mostly close-minded. Rational peoples will never be close-minded, we seek the truth. We allow nobody to impose their home-made truth. We are the sceptic, we are the one who doubt. That's how we achieve a better world, we get rid of the stupidity first. Does that mean we have no heart? God didn't invented love, or do you really think I can't love because I don't believe in a God?

  • "never"!!?"close-minded" is to put blame on somebody else.I've seen here on tube so maney intolerant remarks against Christian religion.Yet we don't put bombs or anything violent. Many atheist just like many religious people are intolerant and accuse "opposite side" for the problems. If we are all equal there are good and bad among the atheist just like among religious ppl.
  • I agree with you on that. But there can be a difference between atheist and rational people. Many atheist are atheist because their parents were atheist and are not more rational than you, other became atheist by choice, because they took the time to think about it, because they were rational. So you are right about that, but i'll add that good and bad are relative terms. :P Christian decides that THIS is good or THAT is bad. Dogma is a synonym to the word close-mind. :P

  • Why are you twisting my words?!

    This conversation can go forever

    like that!

One does NOT go to heaven be cause

Cristian or go to hell be cause Atheist!

We are NOT different it is our approach

    that is different!Our approach is

    irrational comparing to Atheist approach.

Even though Atheism is also "believing" that God doesn't exist. One can't "get rid of the stupidity" our common history is the best proof.

  • One sure can't get rid of the ignorance and stupidity if they are tell not to think but just believe. And you misunderstood me, I KNOW God doesn't exist.

  • WHO ever said "God invented love"?

God IS love. After all for me

    God invented everything except love.

Love is eternal just like God.

"or do you really think I can't love because I don't believe in a God"

I'm sorry but this is not

    very intelligent conclusion!

Why do you need to exaggerate so much?!!

You take me for some idiot? We are all same.

  • What I meant is that you don't need God to love. You for exemple, could love without any need of God. I see no link between God and love. I need to ask you, why do you believe in God?

  • Dude! Just because I said to chill out doesn't mean you have to get into a religious debate with everyone, seriously man cool your jets!

  • What the fuck is with the way you type, word your sentences and spell? Silly Christian.

  • Because this is a comedic post and I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't appreciate it becoming a fucking religious debate as happens to so many other videos. Jesus wasn't real, Christianity is based on fallacies, imperialism, rape and colonialism. It is the "religion" of hate.

  • Well..you show quite lot of "hate" for somebody who is not "religious" Be careful if you continue like that pushing into hate you might become "religious" When you calm down, just say something "funny" you might brake spell of this "comedic post"
  • BTW you make fun out

    of my English and

    you say "comedic post" ?!?

  • Yes. "Comedic Post" is grammatically correct, given the context.

  • @Mcmotherfuckingrory You don't "...appreciate it becoming a fucking religious debate..."?!? Then why run your mouth against religion?!?

You don't want a debate? Here's a suggestion for you then: SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • Those who mock another belief by saying theirs is superior are ignorant and intolerant of what others think and believe. Why is Christianity the religion of hate? What has Christianity as a belief ever done? Some people who claim to be a Christian may be evil and may use it as an excuse, but that does not make the belief an evil one. That's like saying all Muslims are terrorists.

  • Beliefs start arguments like the one you're in right now. Regardless of what belief system it is.

  • Beliefs do not start arguments. People intolerant of others' beliefs start arguments.

  • I am a Christian, but that does not make me opposed to science. In fact, I believe in an interpretation of events from the Bible coinciding with extra-terrestrials. I am not a Scientologist. I have come to my own conclusions, and these change. That makes me a free thinker. Think about that before you judge a belief. Also, only some radical people believe what you say. You feed off of a stereotype, but we are not all like that. Believe what you will, I simply want you to know where you are wrong.

  • Of Omega's last two posts, why was this the one that got thumbed down? The one below this is clearly less thought-out.

  • They were both responses to other people. You need to read theirs to make sense of what I said.

  • faith is always "blind"

    cause it deals wit invisible.

  • well, this was a surprise. 5 stars for actually being something new

  • the license agreement contract thing is so true ive tried to read it but its so long

  • hmmmm funny but kinda short lol maybe rooftop comedy shoulda shown more

  • Ok joke but delivery was poor. Missing some oomph.

  • Posting before this video's comments turn into a religion/atheism debate shitstorm...

  • You completely didn't understand what I was saying, I realize that Jesus died long before Darwin, and that there was no debate between the two human beings, what I was saying is that: Evolution > Religion. You do understand what > means, don't you?

  • Yeah and for someone that watches comedy videos your pretty slow in catching on when someone is making a joke.

  • Well then I apologize, on the internet it is sometimes really difficult to tell whether someone is being sarcastic or is really just that stupid.

  • the "lol" at the end should have given it away.

  • why did you have to dig up the corpse of that dead horse just to beat it again?

  • olo horse

  • Because I like beating off dead horses.

  • what laughs? The guy barely got any, not that anybody sounded like they were on drugs.

There is the laugh track at the end when the fuel guage comes up because it has nothing to do with the particular person, its just a prop of rooftop to say its all about the laughs.

  • thank you weltermn111, you're exactly right!

  • Holy shit, first time I've seen you post RooftopComedy, and I've been subscribed since you had only 15 or so videos, talk to us more, we get lonely.

  • lol, i was shocked too. Never expected that. Thought some company uploaded these promos and didnt look back.

Too bad they replied on a video of what i consider to be a failed delivery.

It was a good joke, but he should not have had to explain it at the end. It also didnt feel like it had enough connection. I can see why it got a moderate level of laughter. Needed something more. Just dont have the creativity to say what.

  • lol so true

  • Awesome joke, delivery could use work though

  • lol, good one.

  • Bible Thumper? Sounds more like she's a Bible Tapper...
