  • R.I.P. Michael Been

  • Awsome cover!!!! Jim Kerr perfect voice tight band first time i heard this cover and after just hearing michael beens recent passing more poigent!!

  • I love that accent from the man that was talking on that video.I still like the original version to that song by The Call alot better.Zebrina

  • Good cover, but I think the original is more inspired - more edgy. I love simple minds, but they're better doing their own stuff ... Don't you Forget About Me is one of my alltime favorites.

  • this cover complements the calls original..the guitar on this song was a higher pitch then the calls version..thanks simple minds for covering this song.

  • Stick to the original - The Call's original has far more edge.

  • WOW! Andy Jordan you are amazing! Simple Minds and Micheal Been would be proud of you if they saw this.

It sent shivers down my spine!

Roll on Simple Roll on! You found the magic again. This is why we stick by you. It's been a thin 7 years:-)

  • In my opinion, this is the best track on the lost boys album. So uplifting!! Simple Minds have made it sound like one of their own. Almost sounds like a track from the 'Once upon a time' album.

  • Yes, the touch of SM is all over this. Not to be mistaken.

  • Great text with a strong symbolic value

  • Cà marche!! Une très belle chanson! Simple minds revenu à leur meilleure forme! :)))

  • Another fantastisc cover. Jim still in a good form and finally we can hear the power of the bass.Remember me the times of Derek Forbes. Fantastic Eddie Forbes.

  • Did Jim really say to the budda with the sacred word? If so, WTF??? Why change the lyrics, the original was perfect.

  • nicely done Andy! good work

  • Top track even gets my 5 year old girl Amber bouncing around the house/car when its played. Roll on the album. Moscow Undergound sounds amazing too. Could be one of there best albums yet with the added bonus album of covers, just needs people to get a chance to hear it.

  • Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!

  • Billy Sloan is a fantastic DJ!

  • I was not thrilled when Jim Kerr announced another covers album (albeit released as companion to the new album of original material), as Neon Lights was so uninspired and bloodless, but the tracks so far sound excellent and fresh and have that special Simple Minds treatment. So this time I am even looking forward to the covers album :-)

  • I completely agree with you!

  • ;) :) happy days ! r here again .....

  • fantastic track and to be honest listening to the new depeche mode album and u2s put on your boots ...simple minds are ahead by far..bring it on jim

  • couldnt aGREE WITH YOU MORE,ALSO MAD U2 AND DEPECHE FAN ,BUT MINDAGE ARE IN A DIFFERENT LEAGUE,DIFFERENT CLASS

  • Excellent tune & very very done for putting the pics together.............superb all round

  • Great stuff, don't know the original but if it's a quarter as good as this, must be something special. Long live Simple Minds and roll on Graffiti Soul and In Search of the Lost Boys, can't wait

  • "In search of the lost boys" sounds much much better than the poor Neon Lights.

I just can't wait to se them live in June and July !!!

    LONG LIVE SIMPLE MINDS !!!!!!!!

  • what a song !! return of the minds on the way ! roll on graffiti soul

  • thanks alot!!

  • Fantastic interpretation of the song, and thanks for putting online so quickly.

    Very very catchy.

  • Excellent interpretation of the song. Simple Minds make choices of songs to cover that you could just imagine them writing themselves. The sound is classic SM!

  • Fantastic Andy, great job...and quick too!!!
