hi I'm from brazil and my heart is just like yours always beating strong, i feel like it's touching my ribs so strange and i don't like the sensation . is that dangerous? i did tests and they say nothing my heart did 1578 extrasystoles in 24 hours. there's some medical help in that case? thanks...
I used to have an arrhythmia when I was little, my heart beat would be soo fast, I had it for many years, and I finally got surgery for it, doesn't feel great I can tell you that.
Don't take any of this offensivly, but maybe you should eat some fish, it's known to make the heart less irratable also try exercising esp. aerobic. Being better conditioned will help your body and heart deal with stress better. I know from experiance. As a teenager, I use to have high blood pressure and fast resting pulse, now at age 30 my blood pressure is normal and heart rate slow. Don't have to be a runner to reap the benifits.
exercise, well, that's not for me... i've got a pretty small flat and the neighbors would probably murder me if i jumped around making a noise while doing aerobics in here, lol. going to a gym or out to do sports is not an option for me, either, as i'd probably be so pissed off about the situation, i'd eventually die due to a ruptured blood vessel -> extremely high blood pressure. ;)
@Mr976493 : having a PVC doesnt mean you need to eat more fish per say its just preffered or you can take heart healthy supplement like fish oil ( aka Omega 3's). :)
depends; some people can feel it very well, while others dont even notice it. it usually feels like your heart "skips a beat" - that's how laypersons typically describe extrasystoles.
i used to get these very often, like 3-4 times every 5 mins, im just wondering how you know what kinda of arrhythmia you have, like if its fatal or not
i know that because i've been seen by a doctor; i had blood tests, a cardiac catheter, a cardiac mri, a stress echo, everything - and my heart is fine. i just have arrhythmia.
lol, quite funny that my arrhythmia started in 2005/2006 - way before i even posessed / handled mercury. ;-)
i think my arrhythmia is stress related, as it got much better now i live alone and got a flat for myself. i used to have ~25.000 extrasystoles in a day back then!
by the way: placebo treatment is awesome. just tell the patient you know what's wrong and that you're gonna give him a pill to cure it - and if he believes it, he's got great chances to get better, just by believing it - even if he receives pills that only contain sugar... it's how homeopathy works, too. i've read quite a few interesting studies where they injected water that could be as effective as morphine - if the patient was told he was given morphine.
jimbobg65 has made a comment on cardiac arrhythmia EKG:
Nice rhythm :) Mine used to be the same occasionally, or sometimes a lot worse. In fact, it's been almost perfect for the past 6 months since having heavy metal detox treatment - most notably for Mercury toxicity ;)
How in the world are you able to tolerate all those irregular heart beats? They feel so uncomfortable for me, and I only get maybe 7-8 pvc's a day. I mostly have sinus arrythmia and occasional bouts of sinus tachycardia and rarely atrial tachy. How do you deal with them without making a fuss?
as i live by a quote from marie curie: "nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood", i just dont worry about them. :P
i have sufficient cardiology knowledge to tell what's going on when i see an EKG, so whenever i feel something is odd, i hook myself up to my monitor and check it out.
as those irregular heartbeats are not life-threatening or anything, i just ignore them... or record a video of them. ;-)
10mg per dose, "as needed". usually, i take it twice a day. if i need to be focused and concentrating on something long, then one pill every 2-3 hours.
i get them from my doctor on prescription for adhd. i do not fake adhd, as i was officially diagnosed with adhd at a hospital (including neuropsychological testing, examination of my school report cards, etc.).
there is no pacemaker visible, almost everyone has single foci PVCs which are benign, they become more prevalent with stress and caffeine, what worries is you appear to be having some multi foci PVCs as well wick is more concerning
i used to have mostly LVOT with some rare apex PVCs, and now i have at least four types of polymorph ventricular extrasystoles (impossible to tell without a - at best - 12-lead ecg)... plus some supraventricular ones.
i'm suspecting thyroid issues to be responsible, but i dont know what exactly made the arrhythmia worse lately. maybe stress plays a role, too - who knows? hard to tell.
is this condition called premature ventricular complex??? anyone answer please!!

Chemtrails cause this...more and more people are getting this condition. You need to get on Beta Blocker.

yeah, i suppose that'd be called sinustachycardia in my case, too.

i do eat quite a lot of fish. :)
about once to twice a week, actually.

Misz666Gwen 2 years ago
see a doctor / cardiologist; nobody on the internet can remotely tell you what the reason for your issue can be, without having examined your heart.

I have an arrhythmia as well, it scares the crap outta me sometimes but at least I know that my heart is healthy. Thanks for the videos :).
iluvyouwyatt 2 years ago
why is you pulse at this high level? Mine is at about 35-50.
schwanzenegger 2 years ago
nobody knows. probably stress related, same as the arrhythmia and hypertension. i've had that for many years.

yeah - i'm 26 now, but i have that arrhythmia a lot since i am 23, basically.
did you get checked for an underlying cause, like thyroid dysfunction?

i find that it's every hard for me to run or do any thing when i'm on my med for adhd why is that
xsvegosl66 2 years ago
probably due to the strain the medication can put on the heart; e.g. in can lead to hypertension. talk to your doctor about it / see a cardiologist.

yes, exactly. that occurance is called a ventricular bigeminus.

heh i watched that
i already used ritalin to stay up for long but its very different from speed in my eyes
i was up for 4 days and 3 nights while beeing in school every day
and i was even better at school XD
tnzfki 2 years ago
hm, doesnt do that for me... it even helps me sleep.
that goes for normal doses though (10mg).
bionerd23 2 years ago
10 mg per day?
i used ritalin sr (20mg) each and i took like 5 per day :p
ld50 is 100 mg~ (dunno if its meant per day)
i was driving my car i didnt feel any difference (only when i needed my next pill i was nearly fallin asleep)
well im not adicted to it still got some but im keep for LAN's etc XD (ive to mention that i combined em with alcohol) :p

i just got some from a friend with a recipe for them but he refuses to take em.
you just faked adhs? or what? :p

i get them from my doctor on prescription for adhd. i do not fake adhd, as i was officially diagnosed with adhd at a hospital (including neuropsychological testing, examination of my school report cards, etc.).
