Toad from this version of the game was voiced by Issac Marshall (Former Game tester at Nintendo, who I think was in that Donkey Kong Country promotional video), who also voiced Peppy Hare in Star Fox 64. I like Wario's voice in this game. I think this was Charles Martinet's first time doing Wario. It's missing a sound clip, the one where he actually successfully hits the person with his item, and it's a more sinister laugh.

Nah, not really. Luigi's voice was pretty much the same afterwords, I kinda prefered DK's grunting over the weird noiss he made here, I definitley prefered Yoshi's actual voice than his SMW sound effects, and Bowser sounded better afterwords, sure he still just growls, but SOMETIMES you get to hear him speak, like when starting up Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story for the DS.

Yeah, it's a no brainer. Modern voices win.

His "Okay" is so awesome! Bowser sounds more threatening during this era. Today his character is more comical and it shows in the voice.

Mario kart 64 is so much better than double dash or wii.

In double dash, if you get hit by a star you just kinda roll over to the side.

In 64, if you get hit by a star you FLY 10 FEET IN THE AIR AND DO CORKSCREWS, and instead of just landing you BOUNCE OFF THE GROUND WITH A GRAND THUD. TWICE.

And Toads/Wario's voices are priceless.
