Its a "magnifier" steup, the large 'secondary' coil is actually a 'tertiary' coil the primary and secondary coils are the large white thing behind the tertiary coil

The cage is grounded.. it will take the path of less resistance.. which would be the grounding cable. If you stood there without the cage it would use you like a copper wire.. ZAP YOUR FUCKING DEAD!

if you go into the cage you wont be electrocuted because it is grounded, so if the arcs touch it it will go through the cage NOT the person inside because you will be in a Faraday cage which will protect you from the electricity.

well the cage is grounded. any contact with the arc from the coil will electrocute you.

It's a Faraday cage - the electric field within it is zero. You'd only have a problem if it wasn't grounded.
