Pervious Concrete

Seems like great idea! Just one thing I'm wondering about. In northern climates, it's typical to seal joints and cracks in asphalt or concrete pavement to prevent water from getting under it, which slows down freeze-thaw cycle damage. The porous pavement will of course allow water to drain into the gravel base. Do you prepare the base differently for porous pavement in northern climates?

@markhinr i dont remember for shure what we did it may have been pea gravel bet i dont think it was different i live in des moines iowa
