but this game waqs shit in the end, action was repetetive and on onlline it takes 30 to 40 minuites for one shitty match 2 load thats why i got a xbox 360 all the way.
i just want them to exercise this idea until it becomes old. make as many sequels to the conduit as possible before it becomes old, and then move on to what you were talking about
looks better than ps2, the water and bump mappings good, i hope more games look like this, looks like theres some more anti aliasing. wouldnt go so say it was the same as 360 or ps3 though
its baffling how zelda TP is still one of the best looking wii games out there yet we'r a year on and still we look for a game that can (hands down) top a game using gamecube graphic.
Let's not forget though.Rareware was a third-party game and it created 007 Golden Eye for the N64,which was a great game for it's time...However,Rareware dumped Nintendo, changed it's name to Rare and turned to the dark side (namely Microsoft :P)
But agreed,1st party games tend to look great on their own console.
Rareware was actually second-party, and worked very closely with Nintendo. Also, they didn't ditch Nintendo. The evil empire (M$) bought most of their shares to gain control of the company, they had no choice, they couldn't help it :(
Then again,Rare did develop Banjo Kazooi on the XBox 360 and in the trailer for it,it shows Banjo flying an aircraft and shooting at a brick wall in Mario's form, blasting off his head....so I guess you could still say they're traitors. :P
This game could make or breaking the future of nintendo fps's. Im hoping we see a rise in fps games with red steel 2 following suit, this could make nintendo think differently about the genre and maybe even make a AAA title of there own. 3 cheers for high voltage.
Well, this video proves that the Wii can handle bump mapping (a tool used to create indents with fewer polygons, like the pillars at 2:10) and higher resolution textures, something the PS2 obviously couldn't handle.
I can say that this isn't the best the Wii can do; it's moreover an advert to sell the engine to other devs, meaning that it's showcasing graphical techniques moreover than just 'good graphics.' If a skilled dev had this engine, they could optimize it for better visuals.

but it loaded during before and during gameplay, so you couldn't tell, and actually has a a hard drive, so some of the data can be saved there

High Voltage Next Venture should be a 3rd person shooter/Action game with REALISTIC Looking grafix like RE4 nothing cartoony.
This Engine Would be perfect, somethin like UnchartedPS3, but Day of Crisis may be Wii's big 3rd person game if it ever comes out.

Yeah and with real sword swinging because in TP you just had to shake and that sucked. Gamecube version killed everything.

I think Nintendo might have some secrets for creating Great looking games. Just look at Super Mario Galaxy and Twighlight Princess.

TP is a port from the GC O.o
I could look twice as good on the GC :D

First-party games usually look great on the company's own system. Like Shenmue on Dreamcast, or like you said, Mario Galaxy on Wii.

Well, I don't think they're happy over the purchase since all Rare games have been bad ever since they stopped making them for Nintendo :)

the presentation does lack character though.

Um, you really don't need a high def version of the video to see what graphical techniques this tech demo shows that the PS2 couldn't do.
But then again, I'm an aspiring game designer, so the differences are obvious to me... but you can find the high def version on the IGN website.
The written preview describes in detail what techniques are shown off, though.
