@maggotfrom1993 You have to remember there was no Internet, and no big magazines like Decibel/Terrorizer. To hear (or even hear of) bands like Dr Shrinker, Necrovore, R.A.V.A.G.E, Grotesque, Ex-Mortis or us (Nirvana 2002) you would need to track down obscure fanzines and demo tapes with photocopied covers (or settle for someone copying said demo for you, often resulting in 5-10 generation copies). Read up on what it was like in Choosing Death, Swedish Death Metal and The Slayer Diaries.
This is really fucking cool, too bad they weren't around long and got little to no recognition. I only found out about them from a split they did with NunSlaughter, which you fuckers should all check out if you haven't already.
one of the best ever. I actually traded tapes with this guys ages ago and own 3 demos but never had the chance to grab a cd/album. Any one know their discography, in case there is any?
@iwantoutnow they have the recognition demo, wedding the grotesque, and the eponym. necroharmonic released a complete discography CD called "grotesque wedlock" but it's out of print now.
Odd Rock Cafe, that's where it went down.

I'm wondering something concerning bands like Dr. Shrinker and others. Were they as underground as they are today ? Please tell me :)

This band kicks. I used to have the cassette demo but made a bad trade. I'm glad it was released on CD
