i prefer the ps2 version, graphics looked like a real painting, controls were easy, cutscenes had great quality and credits were awesome (they cutted em from the wii ver because clover closed) also ps2 ver is the ORIGINAL ONE :D

Okami on the ps3 would have the same graphical improvments as the one on the wii.

BUT on the ps3 it would be the EXACT same game as on the ps2.On the wii its a whole new experiance beoucse of the controles ;)

I'll have to agree with the paper filter, some of the colours are just too bold. But the wii controls compensate for that :)

I think that TV is stretching the screen to make it fit to 16:9 aspect ratio

Unlike to PS3 it is expanding the screen not strectching it so thats why ps3 is the best

No they aren't the Same.

They take out the Paper Shader.

The Ps2 vers looks like a Ricepaper Aquarell. While the Wii Vers looks like a CelShading Game with some Drawing Style eliments.

Ready at Dawn rely did not unterstand the orgiginal Art Design (it was a bad Decision to let a American Studio handle such a very Japanese Game).

I will buy the Wii Vers. But only because I don't have a Ps2.

I love the Resident Evil Series. for it's Athmospheric Qualitys.

But hands down Resi has traditionaly a Paper thin plot with logic Holes the Size of an Ocean. And very bad Dialoge that make a Generic Hollywood Action Movie like Shakespeare.

This is one of the best games ever published at the very level the best Zelda titles.

If you own a Wii do not miss this, regardless of its commercial success this is a first class game.

I'm not a huge WII fan although I have one for the core Nintendo games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc... and spend most of my time on the 360 but they HAVE been able to tap into a market that Sony and Microsoft have not with the WII. I have a feeling though that in a couple years Sony and Microsoft will be so far ahead in terms of quality of games that WII might look even more outdated then it already does.

The Wii's graphics indeed look outdated. But graphics dont determine the quality of games. With the Wii Nintendo has introduced the possibility fo many new control options which work more intuitive and just downright better than traditional controls. And some of those possibilities have already become a reality.

And back on the subject of graphics, the Wii might look outdated right now. But at least it will keep its advanced control scheme. Unlike the 360 and PS3. Which are already being outclassed by the PC. And considering the PC is upgradable, this is a gap that will only widen.
