MBTA is Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Beats driving a car by a longshot.

There's hundreds of bus routes in Boston and surrounding areas.

From Montello Commuter Rail to Quincy Center, Walpole Center to Forest Hills, Quincy Center to Germantown/Hough's Neck, Kenmore Station to Watertown Yard, Quincy Center to Ashmont Station, and many more bus routes on the MBTA.
