Problem; Ron Paul is against the supremacy clause which prohibits the states from making an ammendment to their own constitution that otherwise cuts down on people's liberties granted by the US constitution. Generally voters punish incumbents for the bad economy - that's why the democrats took over the senate, house and presidency in 2008. noone points to the democratic triumph in 2008 and goes 'this means that conservatism is dead,' most commentators said 'voters are punishing incumbents for the bad economy, etc.' same applies here.
Also, instead of looking at one poll, you should look at the sum of all polls - usually that's much more accurate then pointing to one or other poll that supports your views. if you look at all the various polls together, then basically it shows that voters are punishing incumbents for the bad economy. if you want to argue that rasmussen is the only accurate one and others like gallup and pew are always wrong, then you can go ahead and try, but that doesn't sound credible

Problem; Ron Paul is against the supremacy clause which prohibits the states from making an ammendment to their own constitution that otherwise cuts down on people's liberties granted by the US constitution. This is what the Christian Right wants, since it will allow them to overtun all modern science and set up the bible as moral authority for all despite the first ammendment saying no government shall show prefference for one religion over another. He has never said the poor could not get health insurance. And he never will. I believe the states should have more power. I am for more power to be granted each state. Self regulation is smart, whereas one indefinite process for all isn't. But what Ron Paul also wants is indeed no separation of church and state. The admittedly little I have looked up on him supports this.
And I have seen videos where when asked about the people who possibly could die due to lack of funding needed for insurance. He responds with "we all have the freedom to pay or not pay. They chose not to".

Also, while most wealth individuals ($1 million to $10 million in net worth) were voting Republican, most super wealthy (those worth $10 million plus and $100 million plus) were voting Democrat.

Well, most of the Republicans' gains were basically in red-leaning states and so forth - they took back areas that Democrats had taken from Republicans. So sorry, nothing there. Right now, polls indicate that there's a risk that the House will go to a Democrat majority while the Senate and Presidency will go to Republicans (voters punish incumbents of all parties). I think you need to be a bit more rigorous with your facts instead of only remembering the ones that favor your side

Yeah, but that's because of the bad economy. Generally voters punish incumbents for the bad economy - that's why the democrats took over the senate, house and presidency in 2008. noone points to the democratic triumph in 2008 and goes 'this means that conservatism is dead,' most commentators said 'voters are punishing incumbents for the bad economy, etc.' same applies here.

Also, instead of looking at one poll, you should look at the sum of all polls - usually that's much more accurate then pointing to one or other poll that supports your views. if you look at all the various polls together, then basically it shows that voters are punishing incumbents for the bad economy. if you want to argue that rasmussen is the only accurate one and others like gallup and pew are always wrong, then you can go ahead and try, but that doesn't sound credible

There's also the question of which party they blame, D's control 2 of 3 branches and are seen as the major obstructionists. BTW rasmussen has the most accurate record of any polling organization, their poll is also the most recent. Of course, since you seem to think old polling is more relevant than new, that sounds far less credible. Then again, you had no credibility to begin with
