thats how mine is i wiggled it and finnaly got it to go in after breaking my first port :(

After wiggling mine around in my 3 yr old macbook, it did go in, but at first, I was pretty pissed that I just spent all that money to get one and have it not work. I've heard people have decent results with a USB extension cord.
