  • The more i look at Razer the more i think its really a overall weak bot. The reason is that it has to catch the robot...then pierce down. If the robot shape is the right way...the attack might never work. Its powerful...but its like only effective against certain shape bots.

Also....what was the weapons of the other team? o.o; ouch.

  • Yes. Consider its loss to Aggrobot, it lose BECAUSE of its design, yet it won Best Design. Anything you think wrong with that?

  • It didn't lose because of its design, it lost because it broke down. BIG difference.

  • Well, really, it lost because its tail beached it off the ground.

  • No, it lost because its weapon broke down. Even if the tail HADN'T been there, it would have lost anyway.

  • Are you serious? Its wheels were still spinning, but its tail gouged into the ground.

  • Yes, I am serious. Think about it...why didn't it LOWER its claw, and thus raise the tail and let the wheels touch the ground again?

The answer is, obviously, because all control to the claw had gone.

  • Because the claw was gouged into the ground. You can ungouge it.

Why are we discussing this here? Its not even in this fight

  • Yes, you're right, you CAN ungouge it...besides, it wasn't "gouged", it was raised.

Trust me, the claw had broken down. That's what every website I've read, including Razer's own, has said.

You asked, so I told. I'm aware its not in this fight, but its still worth answering.

  • maybe even mortis could of got to grips to razer if they could

  • Wow. I'm amazed that I've found this.

I helped build backstabber when I was at high school.

I appreciate the comments about the design. We put a lot of thought into it. I think we did pretty well to defend against that thing with nothing but 2mm mild steel armour :-)

Even if the two younger members of the team (Luke and Sanjay) had been able to drive the thing (Oh how I remember: "What's tank style steering?!") - we wouldn't have got very far against the world champions :-P

  • Well, the team got lucky it was just a dent and scratches, if there was no pit, the poor 'bot would be dismembered.

But you still could have gotten very far in against the world champions and at least you got the privilege of helping build that robot. For me, there ARE no bad designs, NOR good designs, it just matters how you use your weapon.

You got against razer, That's basically a beast trapped in a shell. At least you lasted more than 1 second.

  • stinger, 101 and KING b

  • ID love to see stinger and panic attack fight rzer

  • 101 fought razer in the first world championship semi-finals and lost but razer went on to be a twice heavy weight world champion

  • Backstabber sucks his weapon is to high. Razer would of won even without pushing Backstabber into the pit.

  • no it could not do any damage because of design

  • What the hell does that have to do with my comment? For the record Razer could cause damage to Backstabber.

  • kinda shows that dominator 2 would beat razer

  • Backstabber's design is really cool, too bad he broke down.Backstabber reminds me of 8645T.

  • Does Look abit like 8645T except without the flipper

  • Backstabber was a excellent design!!! Razer couldn't pierce through it's thick armor (made to withstand piercing weapons). If they didn't let Razer shove them down the pit they would have a good chance against Razer!

  • did backstabber die in first attack?

  • Backstabber looks like Dominator 2

  • MORE S3 please!

  • series 3 and 4 by far the best wars

  • watching the whole series i think series 3 and series 6 were the best
